Rikshospitalet–Radiumhospitalet Hospital Trust ( no, Rikshospitalet–Radiumhospitalet HF) was created in 2005 when Rikshospitalet merged with the Norwegian Radium Hospital. The trust belongs to the Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority. The board of directors is chaired by Steinar Marthinsen. Among the board members appointed by the Regional Health Authority, the politically appointed are Kristin Ørmen Johnsen, Barbro-Lill Hætta-Jacobsen, Eirik Moen, Sigbjørn Molvik and Maj-Britt Svastuen, and the other are Liv Arum, Randi Flesland Randi Runa Svenkerud Flesland (born 17 November 1955 in Oslo) is a Norwegian civil servant. Rikshospitalet
Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet is one of the four main campuses of Oslo University Hospital in Oslo, Norway. It was an independent hospital, ''Rigshospitalet'', later spelled ''Rikshospitalet'' ("The National Hospital"), from 1826 to 2009, when it merged with other university hospitals in Oslo. It is a highly specialized university hospital with special assignments in research and the development of new methods of treatment. Rikshospitalet is a part of Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, and is affiliated with the University of Oslo. About 60% of the patients admitted to Rikshospitalet are referred from other hospitals in Norway for more specialized investigations and treatment. Health trust or HF ( no, helseforetak) is a health Company, enterprise owned by one of the four regional health authority (Norway), regional health authorities in Norway, with responsibility for performing a geographic and/or specialist activities of operations on behalf of the regional health authority.
