Riikka Lehtonen
Riikka Lehtonen (born 24 July 1979 in Kangasala, Finland) is a Finnish volleyball and beach volley player. She is the most successful female volleyball player in Finland. Lehtonen has played for several professional clubs in Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Greece and Azerbaijan. Since 2014 Lehtonen has competed in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour with Taru Lahti. Kangasala
Kangasala is a city in Finland which is situated about 16 kilometres East of Tampere. The city was founded in 1865 and had a population of people as of . Kangasala covers an area of of which is water. The population density is . Finnish author Zacharias Topelius describes the city's natural environment in his poem "A Summer's Day in Kangasala" (which was later set to music by Gabriel Linsén). It is also known for its mansions, such as Liuksiala, where the Swedish queen Karin Månsdotter lived as a widow, and Wääksy. Kangasala has a long history of tourism due to its cultural aspect, notably its museums, and its landscape, which contains ridges and lakes. Azerrail Baku
Azerrail Baku ('' az, Azərreyl Bakı'') is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club based in Baku. Azerrail is a three-time champion of Azerbaijan Superleague and the winner of CEV Cup in 2002 and Challenge Cup in 2011. History Azerrail was founded in 2001 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Under the management of head coach Faig Garayev, Azerrail soon established itself as one of the top clubs in Europe. In 2002, Azerrail won CEV Cup after beating OK Jedinstvo Užice in the final. Azerrail also became the base club for the Azerbaijan national team, producing players such Natalya Mammadova, Valeriya Mammadova, Oksana Kurt, Yelena Parkhomenko and Polina Rahimova. The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions. In 2007 it was renamed following a CEV decision to rename its second official competition (known as Top Teams Cup) to CEV Cup. FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour
The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour (known between 2003 and 2012 as the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour for sponsorship reasons) was the worldwide professional beach volleyball tour for both men and women organized by the ' ( FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The World Tour was introduced 1989 for men and in 1992 for women being held yearly since then until 2021. Several tournaments were staged throughout the year.
