Islamic Salvation Front
The Islamic Salvation Front ( ar, الجبهة الإسلامية للإنقاذ, al-Jabhah al-Islāmiyah lil-Inqādh; french: Front Islamique du Salut, FIS) was an Islamist political party in Algeria. The party had two major leaders representing its two bases of its support; Abbassi Madani appealed to pious small businessmen, and Ali Belhadj appealed to the angry, often unemployed youth of Algeria. Officially made legal as a political party in September 1989, less than a year later the FIS received more than half of valid votes cast by Algerians in the 1990 local government elections. When it appeared to be winning a general election in January 1992, a military coup dismantled the party, interning thousands of its officials in the Sahara. It was officially banned two months later. Hizb ut-Tahrir (Arabicحزب التحرير (Translation: Party of Liberation) is an international, political organization which describes its ideology as Islam, and its aim the re-establishment of the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) to resume Islamic ways of life in the Muslim world. The caliphate would unite the Muslim community (Ummah) under their Islamic creed and implement the Shariah, so as to then carry the proselytizing of Islam to the rest of the world. The Party for Justice, Integration and Unity (, or PDIU) is a nationalist, right-wing political party in Albania whose primary aim is the promotion of national issues. The party focuses on highlighting national issues, including Kosovo recognition, Albanians in North Macedonia, Montenegro, Presevo Valley and especially the Cham issue. Movement For National Development
The Movement for National Development ( sq, Lëvizja për Zhvillim Kombëtar, or LZHK) is a centre-right political party in Albania. The Movement for National Development was founded in 2004 as a five party coalition under the spiritual leadership of Leka I Zogu, King of the Albanians. The Movement for National Development entered the 2005 elections and won 47,967 votes, the result failed to achieve the required 4% for a coalition to enter parliament, falling short with 3,5% of the vote. In October 2005 Dashamir Shehi registered the movement as a political party, and has since maintained an alliance with the Democratic Party.
