Riff Raffy Daffy
''Riff Raffy Daffy'' is a 1948 Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' cartoon directed by Arthur Davis. The cartoon was released on November 27, 1948, and stars Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. Plot A homeless Daffy Duck is trying to find a place to sleep in a City Park. Porky Pig is a patrolling cop, who is telling Daffy that sleeping in the park (''vagrancy'') is against the law. Daffy tries to sleep on a park bench, in a trash can, up a tree, and even in a gopher's hole - evicting the gopher, furniture and all. After being kicked out of the park, Daffy complains that it is "the coldest night in 64 years" and wonders where he is going to sleep, after opening his big beak about the snow suddenly covering the scene. Daffy spots a department store window with a comfortable living room-type display and goes inside. Arthur Davis (animator)
Arthur Davis ( Davidavitch) (June 14, 1905 – May 9, 2000) was an American animator and director known for his time at Warner Brothers' Termite Terrace cartoon studio. Early life Davis was born on June 14, 1905, in Yonkers, New York to Hungarian parents. He is the younger brother of animator Mannie Davis. Career Davis got his start as a teenager at Raoul Barre's Studio in 1918 and later moved to Jefferson Film Corporation when the Mutt and Jeff cartoons began being made there in January 1921 it was claimed that he won a cartoon competition. In 1923 he joined Out Of The Inkwell Films in New York, working as an assistant in 1922 since Dick Huemer proposed him to be an assistant. He is reputed to have been the first in-betweener in the animation industry. Another of his distinctions was that he tapped out the famous " bouncing ball" of the "Follow the Bouncing Ball" cartoons of the 1920s. Aspirin
Aspirin, also known as acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to reduce pain, fever, and/or inflammation, and as an antithrombotic. Daffy Duck is an animated cartoon character created for Leon Schlesinger Productions by animators Tex Avery and Bob Clampett. Styled as an anthropomorphic black duck, he has appeared in cartoon series such as ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies'', in which he is usually depicted as a foil for either Bugs Bunny or Porky Pig. ''Wise Quackers'' is a 1949 Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' cartoon directed by Friz Freleng. The film was released on January 1, 1949, and stars Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd. The short's title should not be confused with the 1939 Bob Clampett short ''Wise Quacks''. Plot In a cold setting, the scene shows a Bird migration, migrating group of birds flying south. Far away from the line, is a weary Daffy Duck doubting himself that he'll manage to make it there. He finally succumbs to the harsh climate and begins diving into the farm of Elmer Fudd, dressed in his hunter attire. Elmer, seizing an opportunity for some game to kill and eat, grabs a nearby makeshift guider and begins directing him towards ''his'' farm. Daffy, not knowing that this is a trick, abides in his directions, careening towards the field, and through a cloud of fog before finally crashing violently into the backyard of the farm.
