Riders 4 Christ
Kyle Loza (born May 15, 1986) is an FMX ( Freestyle Motocross) rider, tattoo artist and musician, residing in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. He is the founder and member of the group Riders 4 Christ and is a tattoo artist. He and his wife Casey front an Orange County rock band called "Piranha Fever". Loza has been playing guitar since he was 8 years old as well as drums. He also produces all of their music in their recording studio. Casey plays bass and writes lyrics. Riding Loza won back-to-back-to-back gold for Moto X Best Trick in the X Games XIII in 2007 with a move he invented called The Volt, and X Games XIV in 2008, with another of his invented moves - Electric Doom. He was the first person to have won three X Games Moto X Best Trick gold medals in a row. He also won silver at the inaugural X Games Mexico in September 2007. Freestyle Motocross
Freestyle motocross (also known as FMX) is a variation on the sport of motocross in which motorcycle riders attempt to impress judges with jumps and stunts. The two main types of freestyle events are: *Big air (also known as "best trick"), in which each rider gets two jumps — usually covering more than 75 ft (22.8 m) — from a dirt-covered ramp. A panel of judges evaluates the style, trick difficulty, and originality and produces a score on a 100-point scale. Each rider's highest single-jump score is compared; top score wins. *Freestyle motocross, the older of the two events, in which riders perform two routines, each lasting between 90 seconds and 14 minutes, on a course consisting of multiple jumps of varying lengths and angles that generally occupy one to two acres (.4 to .8 hectares). Kenny Bartram
Kenny Bartram (born August 23, 1978) is an American professional freestyle motocross rider. He is from Stillwater, Oklahoma, hence his nickname "The Cowboy" (Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, their mascot is the cowboy and their colors are also orange, which Bartram usually wears). Before his career in FMX, he won many Oklahoma State Series MX Races. Out of all other riders, he currently has the most wins, 57 in all. Bartam has suffered plenty of injuries, including 22 broken bones, 7 knocked out teeth, a steel plate in the jaw, and a damaged blood vessel in the brain (according to himself on an interview on the podcast, "M80" on FuelTV). In 2009, Bartram signed with KTM. Michael Metzger is an American freestyle motocross (FMX) rider. Life and career In the 2002 X Games, Metzger won the Freestyle and Big Air events and got second place in Step Up, earning him an estimated $100,000 in three days. In 2003 he also got first place in Big Air at Winter X. On May 4, 2006, at 9:26, Metzger completed "The Impossible Jump", doing a world record backflip over the fountains in front of Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, seen live on ESPN. He is the first person to complete a backflip over the fountains, and only the second person to ever successfully land that jump. Nate Adams
Nathaniel Adams (born March 29, 1984) is an American professional freestyle motocross rider and extreme sports athlete. A resident of Temecula, California, he attained national fame when he won the Freestyle Motocross World Championship in 2002. His nicknames are "The Destroyer" and "Nate Dog". Biography Adams was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and began riding when he was eight years old after his father bought him his first dirtbike. He graduated from Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale, Arizona, in 2002. Rancho Santa Margarita is a city in Orange County, California, United States. One of Orange County's youngest cities, Rancho Santa Margarita is a master-planned community.
