''Ricochet'' is the self-titled debut studio album by the American country music band Ricochet. Released in 1996 on Columbia Records Nashville, it produced four hit singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts: "What Do I Know", "Daddy's Money" (a Number One), "Love Is Stronger Than Pride", and "Ease My Troubled Mind". The album itself has been certified gold by the RIAA. Two of the singles were previously recorded by other artists: "What Do I Know" by Linda Davis on 1996's ''Some Things Are Meant to Be'', and "Ease My Troubled Mind" by Tim Ryan on 1993's ''Idle Hands''. Ricochet is an American country music band from Oklahoma. The band was founded in 1993 by brothers Jeff Bryant (drums, vocals) and Junior Bryant (fiddle, mandolin, vocals), along with Heath Wright (lead vocals, lead guitar, fiddle), Greg Cook (bass guitar, vocals), Teddy Carr (steel guitar, Dobro), and Eddie Kilgallon (keyboards, rhythm guitar, saxophone, vocals), After several years of playing throughout the Southern United States, Ricochet was signed to a recording contract with Columbia Records in 1995. Jeff Stevens (singer)
Jeffery David Stevens (born June 15, 1959) is an American country music singer, songwriter and record producer. He recorded two albums on Atlantic America Records with his brother Warren Stevens and Terry Dotson as Jeff Stevens and the Bullets, and later as a solo artist on the Atlantic label. Since the early 1990s, Stevens has largely worked as a songwriter and producer for other artists. Biography Stevens was born in Alum Creek, West Virginia. James William Anderson III (born November 1, 1937), known professionally as Bill Anderson, is an American country music singer, songwriter, and television host. His soft-spoken singing voice was given the nickname "Whispering Bill" by music critics and writers.
