Ricky Brown
Richard Gerald Brown (born December 27, 1983) is a former American football linebacker. He was signed by the Ravens as a free agent in 2012. He played college football at Boston College. He has also been a member of the Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots. Early years Brown played football for Cincinnati Elder High School, where he played safety. Brown also ran track. Brown went on to win the 100m, 200m and 400m Greater Catholic League track titles in 2002. College career Brown played college football at Boston College, where he played Linebacker. During his freshman year, 2002, Brown was a member of The Sporting News Big East All-Rookie Team. In 2005, Brown was a member of the ACC All-Academic Team. American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. Athletic pubalgia, also called sports hernia, core injury, hockey hernia, hockey groin, Gilmore's groin, or groin disruption is a medical condition of the pubic joint affecting athletes. It is a syndrome characterized by chronic groin pain in athletes and a dilated superficial ring of the inguinal canal. Football and ice hockey players are affected most frequently. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills.
