Rick Nasheim
Richard "Rick" Nasheim (born January 15, 1963) is a Canadian-Austrian professional ice hockey coach and a former professional ice hockey player. He has been serving as scout for EHC Linz since June 2022. Playing career Nasheim spent the early stages of his career in his native Canada, playing for the Cowichan Valley Capitals in the BCJHL, followed by stints in the WHL with the Spokane Chiefs and Regina Pats. He then spent the 1985-86 season at the University of Regina. He began his pro career at German second-division side EHC Klostersee, but would spend almost the remainder of his playing days in Austria. He played a total of 13 years for VEU Feldkirch and also had stints at Swiss EHC Uzwil, and two other Austrian clubs Wiener EV and EHC Linz. In the course of his career he won five Austrian championships with Feldkirch and one with Linz. He also captured four Alpenliga titles as well as the 1997-98 European Hockey League championship in 1997-98. Nasheim retired in 2004. I ... The Deutsche Eishockey Liga (for sponsorship reasons called "PENNY Deutsche Eishockey Liga") (; English: ''German Ice Hockey League'') or DEL, is a German professional ice hockey league and the highest division in German ice hockey. Founded in 1994, it was formed as a replacement for the Eishockey-Bundesliga and became the new top-tier league in Germany as a result. Dornbirn Bulldogs is a professional ice hockey team in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg, Austria, who formerly played in the Austrian Hockey League (IceHL), the first level of ice hockey in Austria, since 2012. until 2022. The club was founded in 1992 and in 2001, began play in the Austrian National League. In their 11 years in the National League, Austria's second-tier league, Dornbirn celebrated two titles in 2008 and 2010. History Dornbirner EC was founded in 1992 as the successor of the club EHC Dornbirn and established itself at the beginning primarily as a training club whose various youth teams had regular successes. With the goal of playing professionally at the highest level, the club's management found through affiliated projects with various established teams professional players to help achieve the level of hockey required.
