Richard A. Baker (born December 8, 1950), known professionally as Rick Baker, is an American retired special make-up effects creator and actor. He is mostly known for his creature designs and effects. Baker won the Academy Award for Best Makeup a record seven times from a record eleven nominations, beginning when he won the inaugural award for the 1981 horror comedy film '' An American Werewolf in London''. Early life Baker was born in Binghamton, New York, to Doris ( née Hamlin), a bank teller, and Ralph B. Baker, a professional artist. He and his family moved to Covina, California when he was less than one year old. Career As a teenager, Baker began creating artificial body parts in his own kitchen. Richard Murray "Rick" Baker (born June 27, 1956) is an American attorney and politician who served as mayor of St. Petersburg, Florida. Elected in 2001, he was reelected in November 2005 with almost 70% of the vote. Early life and education Born in Chicago, Baker is married to wife Joyce. While attending Florida State University, Baker was the President of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He also served as the school's senior class president and president of the Student Senate. Baker has a background in management and law. Baker received a BS in management, an MBA and Juris Doctor (honors) from Florida State University. He also studied comparative law for a term abroad at University of Oxford. Baker has practiced corporate and business law for 20 years, serving as president of Fisher and Sauls, P.A., a St. Petersburg law firm. Dorian Hill (born August 9, 1982) is an American professional wrestler, better known under his ring name D-Ray 3000. He is best known for his stint in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Professional wrestling career Early career Hill began his training at the age of 16 under "The Canadian Destroyer" Doug Chevalier and "Primetime" Tommy Johnson. He made his professional debut on September 9, 2000, with the ring name Don Crisis. After wrestling his first year in Michigan, Hill headed off to Pensacola, Florida, where he received further training from Sika Anoa'i, one half of The Wild Samoans.
