The federal electoral redistribution of 2012 was a redistribution of electoral districts ("ridings") in Canada following the results of the 2011 Canadian census. As a result of amendments to the Constitution Act, 1867, the number of seats in the House of Commons of Canada increased from 308 to 338. The previous electoral redistribution was in 2003. Background and previous attempts at reform Prior to 2012, the redistribution rules for increasing the number of seats in the House of Commons of Canada was governed by section 51 of the ''Constitution Act, 1867'', as last amended in 1985. McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport (commonly known as McArthurGlen Vancouver) is an outlet mall on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. It is located in close proximity to Vancouver International Airport. It currently has around 80 retailers over 340,000 square feet. Layout McArthurGlen Vancouver Airport is an outdoor outlet lined with three horizontal pedestrian paths and three vertical pedestrian paths, which when intersected creates piazzas. The dining areas are located in the southeast corner of the outlet. A phase two planned to open in 2018 was expected to expand the mall to 400,000 square feet and up to 150 retailers. However, the expansion was later scaled back to 84,000 square feet, eventually opening on August 29, 2019 just before the Labour Day weekend. Richmond Centre (corporately styled as CF Richmond Centre and formerly known as Richmond Square) is a shopping mall in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. Its street address is on No. 3 Rd, but it stretches as far west as Minoru Blvd and as far south as Granville Ave. Richmond City Hall is immediately south of the mall. History Richmond Centre mall began as Richmond Square Shopping Centre, which was built in 1980 on part of the old Brighouse/ Minoru Racetrack. Aberdeen Centre is a shopping mall in Richmond, British Columbia. It is located in the Golden Village district on Hazelbridge Way, bordered by Cambie Road to the north. History The original Aberdeen Centre was built in 1989. It contained about 50 to 75 stores. The original Chinese name was "", which refers to the Chinese name of Aberdeen, Hong Kong. Envisioned as an "Asian mall" in anticipation of the coming wave of migration from Hong Kong due to the impending 1997 Handover of Hong Kong, Aberdeen Centre's developer Thomas Fung had trouble finding tenants initially since there had been no Asian malls in North America in the 1980s. Fung offered to buy a 50 percent equity stake in any store setting up in Aberdeen with an option for tenants to buy back the shares with no interest if business flourished.
