	Richard Ward (actor) Richard Ward (March 15, 1915 – July 1, 1979) was a gravel-voiced African American actor on the stage, television, and in films, from 1949 until his death. Though best known through his TV appearances late in life, both in sitcoms and police procedurals, Ward also had an extensive film resume and a distinguished stage career, one of the highlights of the latter being his portrayal of Willy Loman in the 1972 production of ''Death of a Salesman'', staged in Baltimore's Center Stage (the first African American production of Arthur Miller's signature opus, produced with the playwright's blessing). 	Richard Ward (judge) Richard Charles Ward QC (28 July 1916 – 24 November 1977), generally known as Dick Ward, was an Australian jurist and politician. Ward was born in Kew and attended Victoria Street School and Melbourne High School before studying law at the University of Melbourne. Around 1938 he became a partner in a Darwin legal practice, and in 1947 won election to the first Northern Territory Legislative Council, although he did not stand for re-election in 1949. He spent some years in Adelaide before returning to the Northern Territory and the Legislative Council in 1956. In 1966 he was preselected to stand for the Labor Party in the federal seat following Jock Nelson's retirement, but he was defeated by Sam Calder of the Country Party. He returned to the Legislative Council, winning the seat of Ludmilla, which he held until 1974. In 1974 Ward was appointed to the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory. 	Killing Of Richard Ward Richard Ward, 32, was fatally shot on February 22, 2022, by Pueblo County deputy Charles McWhorter during an incident in Liberty Point International Middle School in Pueblo West, Colorado. Ward was questioned by the police after being observed attempting to enter a car that was not his in the middle school's parking lot. He was asked for his identification and if he had any weapons on his person. After admitting that he may be armed with a pocket knife, he appeared to put something in his mouth. McWhorter, one of two deputies at the scene, forcefully removed Ward out of the car and placed him on the ground, shortly before shooting him three times in the chest. 	Rich Ward Richard Park Ward (born January 16, 1969), also known by his stage name The Duke, is an American guitarist best known as a founding member of Stuck Mojo and as lead guitarist of heavy metal band Fozzy. Early life Ward grew up listening to many indie-style soundtracks as that was all that was available to him. After his parents' divorce, Ward's mother's work schedule was hectic, resulting in her hiring a college student to look after him and his sister. According to Ward, the student would often bring over heavy metal and hard rock albums from bands such as AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden, to name a few. From that point, Ward had a new outlook on music, having found the genre of music that "clicked" with him. Ward has also said in interviews that his favorite band growing up was Journey, and he has also cited bands like Bad Company and Foreigner as influences.
