Richard Walter is an American author, educator, screenwriter, commentator, consultant, and chairman of the University of California, Los Angeles graduate program in screenwriting. Author
An author is the writer of a book, article, play, mostly written work. A broader definition of the word "author" states: "''An author is "the person who originated or gave existence to anything" and whose authorship determines responsibility for what was created''." Dan Mazeau
Dan Mazeau is an American screenwriter. He was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California and majored in physics at the University of California, Berkeley. He then enrolled in the MFA screenwriting program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is also a graduate of the Professional Program in Screenwriting at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. There he wrote a family fantasy "The Land of Lost Things" and the script was set up at Nickelodeon/ Paramount Pictures, with Arnold Kopelson producing. ''The Terminal'' is a 2004 American comedy-drama film produced and directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Stanley Tucci.
