Tom Keene (born George Duryea; December 30, 1896 – August 4, 1963) was an American actor known mostly for his roles in B Westerns. During his almost 40-year career in motion pictures Tom Keene worked under three different names. From 1923, when he made his first picture, until 1930 he worked under his birth name George Duryea. The last film he made under this name was '' Pardon My Gun''. Beginning with the 1930 film ''Tol'able David'', he used Tom Keene as his moniker. This name he used up to 1944 when he changed it to Richard Powers. The first film he used this name in was ''Up in Arms''. He continued to use this name for the rest of his film career. Richard Powers (unionist)
Richard Powers (c.1844 – May 11, 1929) was an Irish-born American labor union leader. Powers was born in Ireland, and emigrated to the United States in 1861, settling in New York City. He served in the Union Army during the American Civil War, then relocated to Chicago. He became a sailor, working on the Great Lakes, and in 1877, he was a founding member of a union for lumber unloaders. This inspired him, in 1878, to found the Lake Seamen's Union, becoming its first president. In 1881, Powers was a founding member of the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Unions (FOTLU), and was elected as its first president, serving a single term. He spent time in Washington DC, lobbying on behalf of seamen. After his presidential term, he remained on the executive of FOTLU until 1885. Richard Francis Powers (October 14, 1930 – July 31, 1998) was a professional basketball referee in the NBA from 1956 to 1979. He worked 25 NBA Finals games, including the triple-overtime Game 5 contest in the 1976 NBA Finals between the Suns and the Celtics, considered "the greatest game ever played" in the NBA, as well as three All-Star Games. Following his career in the NBA, Powers was a sportscaster for WABC-TV. Early life and career Powers attended St. John's University and played baseball under Frank McGuire. Richard Powers is an expert in American social dance, noted for his choreographies for dozens of stage productions and films, and his workshops in Paris, Rome, Prague, London, Venice, Geneva, St. Petersburg and Tokyo as well as across the U.S. and Canada. He has been researching and reconstructing historic social dances for twenty-five years and is currently a full-time instructor at Stanford University Dance Division. He teaches a variety of social dance history and practicum classes for the dance division of the Stanford University Drama Department. He joined the Dance Faculty in 1992 and serves as a faculty liaison to the Friends of Dance at Stanford organization. Richard Powers (born November 30, 1970) is a former running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland Browns and a former University of Michigan Wolverines football co-captain. In the NFL, he had a brief career with the Browns during their final season before they relocated to become the Baltimore Ravens. His career ended due to being lost in the shuffle when the Browns moved to Baltimore and changed coaching staffs. In college, he set the Michigan football freshman rushing record that stood for fourteen seasons, and as a sophomore was the leading rusher for the team during Desmond Howard's Heisman Trophy-winning season. Patrick Clark Jr. (born August 19, 1995) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his time in WWE where he performed under the ring name Velveteen Dream. Clark began his professional wrestling career in 2014, when he debuted in the Maryland Championship Wrestling promotion where he trained. During his time there, he won the MCW Tag Team Championship with Lio Rush. After competing in several other independent promotions, Clark participated in the WWE's reality show Tough Enough, a series focused on finding new wrestlers for WWE. Clark did not win the contest, but he was signed to a developmental contract and was assigned to WWE's farm territory, NXT.
