Richard Newman (broadcaster)
Richard James Newman is a writer, broadcaster, and reality TV contestant, best known for participating in the seventh series of the British reality television programme ''Big Brother''. Early life Though born in England, Newman emigrated with his family to Edmonton, Alberta, in 1976 at the age of five. Newman studied Radio & Television arts at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton. After graduating he was employed as a traffic co-ordinator at the CKUA Radio Network and eventually went on to write scripts for the station. He then returned to the UK in 1996, moving to London to pursue a career as a writer and broadcaster. Bodyrox
Bodyrox are an English electro house music duo consisting of Jon Pearn (from Full Intention) and Nick Bridges. Biography " Yeah Yeah", Bodyrox's first commercial single, was released in November 2006 on the Eye Industries label, featuring vocals by Luciana. "Yeah Yeah" reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, also charting in a number of other countries including the Netherlands, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. "Yeah Yeah" was used during a breakdancing competition in the 2007 Jamie Kennedy film ''Kickin' It Old Skool''. The follow-up single to "Yeah Yeah" was "What Planet You On?". The music video featured Luciana in space. Luciana (singer)
Luciana Caporaso (born 23 June 1973), simply known as Luciana, is a British singer. She is of English and Italian heritage. Career 1994–2006: Acting and ''One More River'' Caporaso made her acting debut in 1994, in the final episode on the short lived British TV series, ''Anna Lee''. On the show, she sang the track "Sister Sister" and other incidental songs. Caporaso signed with Chrysalis Records (part of Global Radio) and, in 1994, released her first solo single, "Get It Up for Love", which was produced by Dancin' Danny D from the band D Mob. The follow-up single was "If You Want". Margarita Pracatan (born Margarita Figueroa; 11 June 1931 – 23 June 2020) was a Cuban-born novelty singer, who became well-known in the 1990s when she performed regularly on Clive James' TV show in Britain. Biography Margarita Figueroa was born in Santiago, Cuba. Her father was a union leader. She began to sing at home when she was three years old. Her family fled to the U.S. after the Cuban revolution. She worked in a store selling men's underwear while singing at night. The Puppini Sisters
The Puppini Sisters are an English close harmony vocal trio composed of Italian-born singer Marcella Puppini and English singers Kate Mullins and Emma Smith. Although the three are not related, the name was chosen in tribute to the Andrews Sisters. They are known for providing guest vocals on Michael Bublé's cover of "Jingle Bells". Puppini first studied fashion design at Saint Martins School of Art, and later music at Trinity College of Music in London where she met Mullins and original member Rosanna Schura, who was later replaced by Stephanie O'Brien. After eight years with the group, O'Brien was replaced by Emma Smith. Immodesty Blaize (born Kelly Fletcher in Hitchin, Hertfordshire) is an English burlesque dancer who performs internationally. She was crowned Reigning Queen of Burlesque in June 2007 at the Las Vegas Burlesque Hall of Fame formerly known as Exotic World. Her stage name is an allusion to the character Modesty Blaise. Rise to fame Immodesty has been performing burlesque internationally since 1999. Originally she performed in addition to her film day job. Carol Decker
Carol Ann Decker (born 10 September 1957) is an English singer and musician. She is the lead vocalist of the band T'Pau, which had international success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Although Decker is mainly associated with the group, she also released "One Heart," a solo single in 1995, to support the centenary of the formation of the Northern Rugby Football Union (the Rugby League code) and sometimes performs solo at shows and festivals.
