Richard McVey
Richard Mitchell McVey (born January 2, 1959 in Painesville, Ohio), known as Rick, is an American entrepreneur who serves as chairman and chief executive officer of MarketAxess, which operates an electronic trading platform for corporate bonds and other fixed-income products. McVey has led MarketAxess since he founded the company in April 2000. Early life and education McVey grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, where his father ran an oil company and was an active stock investor. McVey attended Miami University (Ohio), where he received a B.A. degree in finance, and then received an MBA from the Kelley School of Business Indiana University in 1983. Painesville, Ohio
Painesville is a city in and the county seat of Lake County, Ohio, United States, located along the Grand River northeast of Cleveland. Its population was 19,563 at the 2010 census. Painesville is the home of Lake Erie College, Morley Library, and the Historic Downtown Painesville Recreation Area. History Painesville was settled shortly after the Revolutionary War. Vail is a home rule municipality in Eagle County, Colorado, United States. The population of the town was 4,835 in 2020.
