Richard Jones (cricketer, Born 1986)
Richard Alan Jones (born 6 November 1986) is an English cricketer who plays county cricket most recently for Leicestershire. Jones was educated at The Grange School (now Pedmore Technology College) in Stourbridge and Loughborough University. He played for Worcestershire's Second XI as early as August 2004 (when he was 17) and appeared a number of times for them in 2005 and 2006. He was included on the England Under-19 tour to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in 2005–06. In late April 2007, after several matches in Worcestershire's pre-season warm-up games, he made his first-class debut against Loughborough UCCE at Worcester, taking four wickets in the match. Jones signed a loan deal with Warwickshire on 22 August 2013 for the last few weeks of the season. He was signed as cover for injured Chris Wright (cricketer) and Oliver Hannon-Dalby and also England pair Chris Woakes and Boyd Rankin. Loughborough MCC University (previously known as Loughborough University Centre of Cricketing Excellence) is a cricket coaching centre based at Loughborough University in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England, and the name under which the university's cricket team plays. The former Loughborough University Centre of Cricketing Excellence played 27 first-class matches from 2001 to 2009. As Loughborough Marylebone Cricket Club University, the team has played fourteen first-class matches from 2010 to 2015. Lancashire County Cricket Club represents the historic county of Lancashire in English cricket. The club has held first-class status since it was founded in 1864. Lancashire's home is Old Trafford Cricket Ground, although the team also play matches at other grounds around the county. Boyd Rankin
William Boyd Rankin (born 5 July 1984) is a Northern Irish former cricketer who played international cricket for Ireland, and briefly also played for England. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He is the brother of fellow cricketer David Rankin. Born in Derry, Rankin is a tall bowler who stands at 6 ft 8 inches and has a distinctive bouncing action in his bowling. Rankin revealed in an interview that his action is modelled on bowlers like Curtly Ambrose and Glenn McGrath who "hit the deck from just back of a length outside off stump". Christopher Roger Woakes (born 2 March 1989) is an English cricketer who plays internationally for England in all formats. In domestic cricket, he represents Warwickshire, and has played in multiple Twenty20 leagues, including for Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League.
