Richard Ellwood
Richard Ellwood (born 6 April 1965) is a former English cricketer. Ellwood was a right-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He was born in Penrith, Cumberland. Ellwood made his debut for Cumberland in the 1984 Minor Counties Championship against Lincolnshire. Ellwood played Minor counties cricket for Cumberland from 1984 to 2000, including 49 Minor Counties Championship matches and 11 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. In 1989, he made his List A debut against Lancashire in the NatWest Trophy. He played three further List A matches for Cumberland, the last of which came against Worcestershire in the 1995 NatWest Trophy. In his four List A matches, he scored 29 runs at a batting average of 29.00, with a high score of 24 *. With the ball he took 2 wickets at a bowling average of 59.00, with best figures of 2/49. Penrith, Cumbria
Penrith (, , ) is a market town and civil parish in the county of Cumbria, England, about south of Carlisle. It is less than outside the Lake District, Lake District National Park, in between the Rivers River Petteril, Petteril and River Eamont, Eamont and just north of the River Lowther. It had a population of 15,181 at the 2011 Census. 1995 NatWest Trophy
The 1995 NatWest Trophy was the 15th NatWest Trophy. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 27 June and 2 September 1995. The tournament was won by Warwickshire County Cricket Club who defeated Northamptonshire County Cricket Club by 4 wickets in the final at Lord's. Format The 18 first-class counties, were joined by eleven Minor Counties: Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire, Cornwall, Cumberland, Devon, Dorset, Herefordshire, Norfolk, Staffordshire and Suffolk. Leicestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Leicestershire. It has also been representative of the county of Rutland. The club's limited overs team is called the Leicestershire Foxes. Mark Edward Waugh (born 2 June 1965) is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer, who represented Australia in Test matches from early 1991 to late 2002, after previously making his One Day International (ODI) debut in 1988. Waugh is younger than his twin brother Steve by a few minutes. Graham Alan Gooch, (born 23 July 1953) is a former English first-class cricketer who captained Essex and England.
