Richard Dermer
Richard Dermer (June 19, 1939March 14, 2014) was an American restaurateur and founder of Hideaway Pizza. Dermer was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1939. He attended and graduated at Oklahoma State University. While attending university, in 1957 Dermer opened the original Hideaway Pizza outlet, in Stillwater; it was the second pizzeria A pizzeria is a restaurant focusing on pizza. As well as pizza, dishes at pizzerias can include kebab, salads and pasta. Many pizzerias offer take-away, where the customer orders their food either in advance or at the restaurant and then take ... in the city. Hideaway Pizza
Hideaway Pizza is a restaurant originally opened in 1957 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Its original location is in Stillwater at the corner of 3rd St and Knoblock, near the Oklahoma State University campus. In 1993, the restaurant started opening locations outside of Stillwater. As of June 2020, there are eight locations in the Oklahoma City area, seven locations in the Tulsa area, one location in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and three locations in Arkansas.
