Richard Bullock (priest)
Richard Bullock (20 August 1847 –7 February 1920) was a Cornish people, Cornishman who once sang in a Methodist choir and later became a legendary figure of the Wild West Cowboy era. His quick-shooting deeds working on the Deadwood, South Dakota, Deadwood stage gained him the nickname "Deadwood Dick". Biography Early in life Bullock's family moved to nearby Hamlet (place), hamlet of Retew where his father, Captain John Bullock, became the manager of a local china clay, clay-works. Ruthvoes
Ruthvoes ( kw, Rudhfos) is a village in mid Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is in the parish of St Columb Major, about two miles (3 km) south of St Columb Major town and east of Newquay. The village lies on the northwest edge of Goss Moor near the A30 road, A30 dual carriageway trunk road. The Atlantic Coast Line, Cornwall, Par to Newquay branch railway passes south of the settlement. Ruthvoes is the location of the holy well of Columba the Virgin, Saint Columba the virgin and, according to legend, is where she was beheaded.
