Richard Brown (producer)
Richard Brown is a Scottish film and television producer whose credits include ''True Detective'', ''Catch-22 (miniseries), Catch-22'', ''Outlaw King'', and ''44 Inch Chest''. Career Brown started his career as a talent scout for Island Records in London. In 1993, he relocated to the U.S. and transitioned into the film business working at Nick Wechsler (film producer), Nick Wechsler, Keith Addis’ Industry Entertainment, and Chris Blackwell's Palm Pictures. During this period Brown produced Directors Label Series with Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry and Chris Cunningham. From 2006 to 2019, Brown operated under an overall deal with Steve Golin's production company, Anonymous Content—working closely with Golin on the company's expansion into TV. A television producer is a person who oversees one or more aspects of video production on a television show, television program. Some producers take more of an executive role, in that they conceive new programs and pitch them to the television networks, but upon acceptance they focus on business matters, such as budgets and contracts. Basketball Africa League
The Basketball Africa League (BAL) is Africa's premier men's basketball league. The league consists of twelve teams, each qualified through their domestic competition, similar to the format of the UEFA Champions League. The league is a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA) with sponsorship from Nike, Inc., Nike, Air Jordan and Pepsi. Its 2021 BAL season, inaugural season started with the qualifying rounds in October 2019 and the regular season in May 2021.
