Richard A. Bennett (born May 24, 1963) is an American politician from the state of Maine. Bennett is the President and CEO of ValueEdge Advisors, a firm he founded in summer 2014 to help institutional investors engage with their portfolio companies. From 2006 to 2014 he ws CEO of The Corporate Library and then chairman or vice chairman of GMI Ratings, its successor company, an independent research firm focusing on corporate governance, director/executive compensation, and forensic accounting. For six years, Bennett was included in the NACD Directorship's "100 most influential people" in the boardroom and corporate governance community. James Hamper
James Michael Hamper (born June 15, 1955) is an American politician and carpenter from Maine. Hamper is a Republican State Senator from Maine's 19th District, representing parts of Cumberland and Oxford Counties, including his residence of Oxford. Hamper earned a A.A. from the University of Maine at Augusta in 2001. He was first elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 2004 and was unable to run for re-election in 2012 due to term-limits. From 2010 to 2012, Hamper served as the House chairman of the Legislature's Environment and Natural Resources Committee and a member of the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee. Naples is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. It is part of the Portland– South Portland–Biddeford, Maine metropolitan statistical area. The population was 3,925 at the 2020 census, and it is home to part of Sebago Lake State Park. Naples is a resort area. History The area was settled in 1790. Farming was limited by the soil, which consisted of gravelly loam, its surface strewn with glacial erratic boulders.
