Riccardo Maniero
Riccardo Maniero (born 26 November 1987) is an Italian footballer who plays as a forward for club Turris. Career Juventus and loans Maniero began his youth career with Juventus and was promoted to the Primavera reserve team in 2005. As a player of the under-20 team, Maniero also received some call ups by Didier Deschamps for the senior side in various Coppa Italia and Serie B matches, specifically in matches against AlbinoLeffe, Lecce, and Genoa, appearing as an unused substitute on the bench. This was the season when Juventus were relegated to the second division for the first time in their history following the Calciopoli scandal, and Maniero was eventually part of the team that led Juventus back to Serie A that year. Claudio Ranieri Grande Ufficiale OMRI (; born 20 October 1951) is an Italian football manager and former player. He will be the new head coach of club Cagliari from 1 January 2023. Ranieri began his managerial career in the lower leagues in Italy during the late 1980s, and made his name at Cagliari, whom he took from Serie C1 up to Serie A in successive seasons. He later went on to manage Napoli, where he led the team to qualify for the UEFA Cup, only to be dismissed the following season. 2015–16 Serie B
The 2015–16 Serie B (known as the Serie B ConTe.it for sponsorship reasons) was the 84th season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 16 returning from the 2014–15 season, 4 promoted from Lega Pro, and 2 relegated from Serie A. Vacancies created by the bankruptcy of Serie A-relegated Parma and the demotion of Catania to Lega Pro due to match fixing allowed Brescia to remain in the league despite being relegated. Marcelo Leite Pereira (born 22 June 1987), better known as Marcelinho, is a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a winger or an attacking midfielder. Riccardo Brosco (born 3 February 1991) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for club Pescara. Club career Brosco is a product of the Roma youth system. His favoured position is at centre back but he is also able to score goals with his good heading ability. Co-ownership (football)
Co-ownership is a system whereby two football clubs own the contract of a player jointly, although the player is only registered to play for one club. It is not a universal system, but is used in some countries, including Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. It was formerly commonplace in Italy, though the practice has now been abolished there. This type of deal differs from third-party ownership, in that in the latter, the player's contract is owned by a non-footballing entity, such as a management company. Italy Co-ownership deals were common in Italian football, before being banned at the end of the 2014–15 season. Lega Pro Prima Divisione
Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Before the 1978–79 season there were only three leagues of professional football in Italy, the third being Serie C. In 1978, it was decided to split Serie C into Serie C1 and Serie C2. Serie C2, the fourth highest professional league in the Italian system, was also renamed in 2008 and was called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione.
