Riccardo Bocchino
Riccardo Bocchino (born 3 March 1988) is an Italian rugby union player. Bocchino, who is a Rugby union positions#10. Fly-half, fly-half, plays his club rugby for Aironi. He made his debut for Italy national rugby union team, Italy against Ireland national rugby union team, Ireland on 6 February 2010. Bocchino began his career at Unione Rugby Capitolina, Capitolina, with whom he made his debut during the 2007–08 season. He played for the Italy national under-20 rugby union team, Italian under-20 team at the 2008 IRB Junior World Championship and Italy A national rugby union team, Italy A at the IRB Nations Cup#2009 tournament, 2009 IRB Nations Cup. Bocchino moved to Rugby Rovigo, Rovigo prior to the 2009–10 season. He was named in Nick Mallett's squad for the 2010 Six Nations Championship, making his debut against Ireland. Viterbo (; Viterbese: ; lat-med, Viterbium) is a city and ''comune'' in the Lazio region of central Italy, the capital of the province of Viterbo. The United Rugby Championship (URC) is an annual rugby union competition involving professional teams from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales. The current name was adopted in 2021 when the league expanded to include four South African teams previously from the SANZAR Super Rugby competition. The league is one of the three major professional leagues in Europe (along with the English Premiership and the French Top 14), the most successful teams from which go forward to compete in the European Rugby Champions Cup. Since 2022–23, despite the name, South African teams have been eligible to qualify for European competition, and one South African place is guaranteed. The 2010 Six Nations Championship, known as the 2010 RBS 6 Nations due to sponsorship by the Royal Bank of Scotland, was the 11th series of the Six Nations Championship and the 116th international championship, an annual rugby union competition between the six major European national teams. Nick Mallett
Nicholas Vivian Haward Mallett (born 30 October 1956) is a former South African rugby union player who played for the Springboks, South Africa's national rugby union team, in 1984. He also coached the Springboks between 1997 and 2000 and was the head coach of Italy's rugby union team between 2007 and 2011. Early life Born on 30 October 1956 in Hertford Heath, England, Mallett moved to Rhodesia with his family in 1956 when he was only six weeks old, and his father, Tony Mallett, took up a post as an English teacher at the recently founded Peterhouse Boys' School, in Marandellas near Salisbury. Nick first arrived in Cape Town, South Africa in 1963, when his father was appointed Headmaster of Diocesan College, after which he attended St. Andrew's College, Grahamstown.
