Ricardo González (racing Driver)
Ricardo BenjamÃn González Valdés (born 20 October 1977 in Monterrey) is a Mexican racing driver who competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship. In 2013, he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in LMP2 class and 2013 FIA WEC World Champion LMP2 class for drivers and teams. For the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship, González shall participate as owner and pilot of the rookie Mexican team RGR Sport by Morand in the LMP2 class and confirms its participation in 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. Personal life Ricardo comes from a family of drivers; his father Roberto González Sr. finished in third place in the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1976 and his brother Roberto Jr. competed in the Champ Car World Series in 2003 and 2004. 2016 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 84th 24 Hours of Le Mans (french: link=no, 84e 24 Heures du Mans) was a 24-hour automobile endurance racing event held for Le Mans Prototype and Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance cars from 15 to 19 June 2016 at the Circuit de la Sarthe, close to Le Mans, France. It was the 84th running of the 24 Hour race organised by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) as well as the third and flagship round of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship. A test day was held two weeks prior to the race on 5 June. The event was attended by 263,500 people. The Renault Sport Series (formerly known as World Series by Renault) is a motor racing series. The series latterly consisted of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, and used to contain the Renault Sport Trophy and the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. Formula Chrysler Euroseries
The Formula Chrysler Euroseries was a single-make open-wheel racing series based in Europe. It ran only in 2001. History Launched as the International Single Seater Challenge the series had to fill the gap between national Formula Three championship and the Formula 3000 series. The car was first tested by Guy Smith in November 2000 at Donington Park. The initial season started with a promotional event at Circuit Park Zandvoort. Eight drivers were present at the event. However, the race was stopped early as there were only two cars running after eight laps. Anthony Kumpen won the race, he finished in front of Aldo Piedade, Jr.. The official season started on August 25 at the Österreichring in Austria. Six drivers started the first race with Charles Hall winning. Roberto González Barrera
Roberto González Barrera (September 1, 1930 – 25 August 2012) was a Mexican businessman. He was the chairman of Gruma, the largest producer of tortillas and corn flour in the world, and of Banorte, the largest Mexican-owned private bank in Mexico. Because of his prominent role in the expansion of Gruma, he was often nicknamed "El Maseco" or "Don Maseco" (a reference to one of Gruma's subsidiaries, Grupo Industrial Maseca), as well as the "King of Tortillas".
