Ricardo Chéu
Ricardo José Moutinho Chéu (born 14 May 1981) is a Portuguese football manager, currently in charge of U.D. Vilafranquense. He managed Penafiel for four Primeira Liga games in 2014, while also leading six teams in the second tier. Abroad, he worked in Italy, Slovakia and Cyprus. Managerial career After leading Académico de Viseu to a mid-table finish in the 2013–14 season, Chéu was appointed in May 2014 as the new coach of Penafiel. Following three defeats in the first four games of the 2014–15 season, he left by mutual consent. In November 2014, two months after departing from Penafiel, Chéu returned to management by returning to former side Académico de Viseu. In his second stint with the ''Viriatos'', Chéu led them to a twelfth-place finish. The following season saw him depart in February 2016 after a string of poor results. AEK Larnaca FC ( el, AEK; for short Αθλητική Έvωση Κίτιον Λάρνακας , translit=''Athletiki Enosi Kition Larnakas'', "Athletic Union Kition of Larnaca") is a Cypriot professional football club based in Larnaca. The club was formed in 1994 after a merger of two historical Larnaca clubs, EPA Larnaca and Pezoporikos. The club also has a men's basketball team, a women's volleyball team and a men's futsal team. The club's name comes from the ancient Greek city of Cyprus, Kition, which was located on the site of today's Larnaca. The colours of the club are yellow and green, and their emblem is admiral Kimon, who died at the seafront while defending the city of Kition circa 450 BC, in a fight against the Persians. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division.
