Ri Son-gwon
Ri Son-gwon () is a North Korean politician and diplomat who has served as chairman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland. In January 2020, he was named in media reports as the successor for Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho. Career Ri led a North Korean delegation for the first high-level inter-Korean talks in more than two years in January 2018. He was once known the right-hand man of Kim Yong-chol, and appeared at a second round of inter-Korean working-level military talks in October 2006. Minister Of Foreign Affairs (North Korea)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ( ko, 조선민주주의인민공화국 외무성) is the government ministry of North Korea, responsible for conducting foreign relations of the country. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is in charge of the ministry. In addition to the foreign minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a First Vice Minister and seven other vice ministers. The current First Vice Minister is Kim Kye-gwan. The other vice ministers include Choe Son-hui, Han Song-ryol, and Choe Hui-chol. Kim Jong-un (; , ; born 8 January 1982) is a North Korean politician who has been Supreme Leader of North Korea since 2011 and the leader of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) since 2012. He is a son of Kim Jong-il, who was North Korea's second supreme leader from 1994 to 2011, and Ko Yong-hui. Kim Tok-hun (, born 1961) is a North Korean politician serving as the Premier of North Korea since August 2020. He is also a full member on the Presidium of the Politburo of the Workers' Party of Korea and served as the chief of the parliamentary budget committee. Kim Jae-ryong
Kim Jae-ryong (, born 1959) is a North Korean politician who served as Premier of North Korea from April 2019 to August 2020. A senior official within the Workers' Party of Korea, he has served as the director of the Organization and Guidance Department since 2020 and as a deputy to the Supreme People's Assembly. Career Relatively little is known about Kim's early career. Before his premiership, he held positions in political guidance at various industrial sites. Around 2007, he was appointed to his first important position as the secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) North Pyongan provincial committee. Ri Yong-ho (diplomat)
Ri Yong-ho (; ; born 10 July 1956) was a North Korean politician and diplomat who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Korea from 2016 to 2020. He was reportedly executed in 2022. Ri was known as a skillful negotiator with experience in negotiating with the United States on the North Korean nuclear program. In particular, he had headed North Korea's negotiators at the six-party talks. His diplomatic career spanned more than 30 years, including posts in various embassies. Ri was the ambassador to the United Kingdom between 2003 and 2007. Choe Son-hui
Choe Son-hui (; born 10 August 1964) is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Korea. Previously the First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, she was appointed Minister on 11 June 2022, becoming the first woman to hold the position and is one of few North Korean women holding a high-level office. Choe is a seasoned interpreter, aide, researcher, and Foreign Ministry official. Fluent in English, she interpreted at the six-party talks and Washington-Pyongyang dialogue early in her career. Choe has progressed through the ranks in the foreign ministry, from section chief, to deputy director, and since 2016 deputy director-general of the North American department. Committee For The Peaceful Reunification Of The Fatherland
The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) is a North Korean state agency aimed at promoting Korean reunification. Kim Yong-chol
Kim Yong-chol (; born 1946) is a North Korean general and politician who currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea for South Korean affairs and head of the United Front Department. From February 2009 to January 2016 he was the director of the Reconnaissance General Bureau, the country's primary intelligence service.
