Rhino Rally
Rhino Rally was a safari-themed attraction located at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, a theme park located in Tampa, Florida. The ride was opened on May 23, 2001, in the Nairobi section of the park and lasts between 5 and 6 minutes. The ride was closed on September 1, 2014, due to consistent maintenance issues. The pretense of the attraction was that guests are going on a normal safari ride which turns into a search for a lost driver named Scooter Roberts. History Busch Gardens Tampa Bay announced Rhino Rally on May 11, 2000, a safari-themed attraction utilizing land rovers and a river ride section.; The announcement took place with a presentation by Jack Hanna. Virtual queue is a concept used in inbound call centers. Call centers use an Automatic Call Distributor (ACD) to distribute incoming calls to specific resources (agents) in the center. ACDs hold queued calls in First In, First Out order until agents become available. From the caller’s perspective, without virtual queuing they have only two choices: wait until an agent resource becomes available, or abandon (hang up) and try again later. From the call center’s perspective, a long queue results in many abandoned calls, repeat attempts, and customer dissatisfaction. Virtual queue systems allow customers to receive callbacks instead of waiting in an ACD queue. This solution is analogous to the “fast lane” option (e.g. Disney's FastPass) used at amusement parks, which often have long queues to ride the various coasters and attractions. Cheetah Hunt
Cheetah Hunt is a steel launched roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. The roller coaster was manufactured by Intamin and designed in collaboration with Mark Rose. Cheetah Hunt opened to the public on May 27, 2011, alongside a cheetah exhibit called Cheetah Run. Cheetah Hunt features three linear synchronous motor (LSM) launches and a single inversion. Screamin' Swing
Screamin' Swing is a pneumatically powered pendulum ride designed and manufactured by S&S - Sansei Technologies. The ride was first installed and operated in 2004 at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, United States. On February 26th 2022 the tallest and fastest screaming swing in the world opened to SeaWorld San Antonio pass holders and to the public on March 5, 2022. Vekoma Rides Manufacturing is a Dutch amusement ride manufacturer. Vekoma is syllabic abbreviation of Veld Koning Machinefabriek (Veld Koning Machine Factory) which was established in 1926 by Hendrik op het Veld.
