Rhett Gardner (born February 28, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Texas Stars in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Early life Gardner was born on February 28, 1998, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada to parents Rob and Renee Gardner. Playing career Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Gardner was drafted in the second round of the 2011 Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft by the Spokane Chiefs while captaining the Moose Jaw Generals. However, he never played for the team as his rights were traded to Brandon Wheat Kings on January 10. Following the trade, Gardner informed the Wheat Kings he would not report to them as he had committed to play NCAA Division I collegiate ice hockey with the North Dakota Fighting Hawks men's ice hockey team. Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators (commonly referred to as the Preds) are a professional ice hockey team based in Nashville, Tennessee. Joel Kiviranta (born March 23, 1996) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career On November 12, 2013, Kiviranta made his Liiga debut playing with Jokerit against the Espoo Blues during the 2013–14 Liiga season. In the 2018–19 Liiga season, his fifth year with Vaasan Sport, Kiviranta tallied 31 points in 48 games. His 16 goals were third on the team however he was unable to propel Sport to the post-season. Joe Pavelski
Joseph James Pavelski (born July 11, 1984) is an American professional ice hockey player and alternate captain for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the San Jose Sharks for the first thirteen years of his NHL career and served as captain during his final four years with the team. He attended University of Wisconsin and played for the Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team. 2019–20 NHL Season
The 2019–20 NHL season was the 103rd season of operation (102nd season of play) of the National Hockey League. The regular season began on October 2, 2019, with playoffs originally planned for April and the Stanley Cup Finals planned for June. The season was suspended indefinitely on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Iowa Wild are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League, that began play for the 2013–14 season. The team plays at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, as the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild. Colin Francis Markison (born August 6, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Texas Stars in the American Hockey League (AHL) on loan from fellow club, the Chicago Wolves.
