Rhaisa Gomes Batista (born March 8, 1990) is a Brazilian model and actress. Biography Rhaisa was born in Recife, Pernambuco, but she was raised in Lagoa de Itaenga, in the interior of the state, where her parents live. She is the daughter of a civil servant and a housewife. Career She began working as a teenage model in Recife, and soon she moved to work in São Paulo. Rhaisa made several fashion shows, editorials, and fashion campaigns in Brazil and abroad. In 2012, she was invited to participate in the series Louco por Elas and then she debuted in Lado a Lado ''Lado a Lado'' (; ''Side by Side'') is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Rede Globo from 10 September 2012 to 8 March 2013. It is created by João Ximenes Braga and Claudia Lage, with Chico Soares, Douglas Tourinho, Fernando Rebell ..., playing Esther Vieira. ''Minha Mãe é uma Peça 2'' ( en, My Mother Is a Character 2, italic=yes, link=no) is a 2016 Brazilian comedy film written and starred by Paulo Gustavo, based on his play of the same name. It is a sequel to the 2013 film ''Minha Mãe é uma Peça'' and was produced by Downtown Filmes and Globo Filmes in association with Paramount and Universal Pictures. It was released in Brazil on December 22, 2016, by Migdal and Paris Films. After its release, the film received mixed to positive reviews, with some critics praising its balance between humor and drama while others criticized the plot for repeating the same formula and not showing evolution from the first film.
