Reza Ramezani Gilani
Reza Ramezani ( fa, رضا رمضانی گیلانی) (* 1963 in Rasht, Northern Iran) is a Twelver Shia Muslim cleric with the religious Rank Ayatollah. He has been a member of the Expert Council (Assembly of Experts) in the Islamic Republic of Iran since 2006. From 2009 to August 2018, he was head and director of the Islamic Center Hamburg, the center of Shiite Islam in Germany. Before working in Hamburg, he headed the Islamic Center Imam Ali Vienna. He is the Secretary-General of the Ahl Al-Bayt World Assembly and the representative of Gilan in the Assembly of Experts. Between 2001 and 2005, he represented the Supreme Leader and the Friday Imams in Karaj. Life and career Ramezani studied at the theological faculty in Rasht, later in Mashhad. ''Ijtihad'' ( ; ar, اجتهاد ', ; lit. physical or mental ''effort'') is an Islamic legal term referring to independent reasoning by an expert in Islamic law, or the thorough exertion of a jurist's mental faculty in finding a solution to a legal question. It is contrasted with ''taqlid'' (imitation, conformity to legal precedent). Ahl Al-Bayt University
Ahl Al Bayt University is a private Iraqi university established in 2003 in Karbala, Iraq by Dr. Muhsin Baqir al-Qazwini.The university was first initiated as a virtual university appearing on the internet in 2000 as the Ahl Al Bayt International University, and it taught Management, Law, Arabic Literature and Islamic law. Whilst the university was virtual, it had offices in different cities like London, Beirut, Kuwait, Damascus and Manama, for students to go and take their mid-term and final exams. After the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the founder of the university moved back to Iraq and settled in Karbala. Seyed Abbas Hosseini Ghaemmaghami is an Islamic theologian, philosopher and social scientist from Iran. Since 2004, Ghammaghami has been in charge of Islamic Centre Hamburg as Imam and director. Ghammaghami is also the chairman of the Islamic Academy of Germany. Zaynolabideen Ghorbani
Sheikh Zaynolabideen Ghorbani , (born 1933) is an Iranian Ayatollah. He represented the Supreme Leader of Iran for Gilan Province, as well as leading prayers in Lahijan and Rasht. He represented the people in Gilan for both the Assembly of Experts (since 1990), and Islamic Consultative Assembly (from 1984 to 1988). Personal life and education Ghorbani was born in a village called Panchah, Gilan province in 1933. He lost his father, Gholam Hassan, at the age of 5. They were a family involved in agriculture, and Ghorbani would help his family with farm work as well as attending school. He has 10 children, 7 sons and 3 daughters. Grand Ayatollah Mohammad-Taqi Bahjat Foumani ( fa, محمدتقی بهجت فومنی) (24 August 1916 – 17 May 2009) was an Iranian Twelver Shia Marja'. Biography Mohammad-Taqi was born on 24 August 1916 in the Fouman, Gilan province in the north of Iran. Mohammad's mother died when he was at an early age and he lived with father. Bahjat's father sold cookies to gain as income. He started his primary education from Fouman. At the age 14, he went to Karbala and Najaf, Iraq for continuing his education in advance level. Ja'far Sobhani
Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani ( fa, جعفر سبحانی) (born 9 April 1929 in Tabriz) is an Iranian Twelver Shia marja, influential theologian and writer. Sobhani was a former member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom and founder of Imam Sadiq Institute in Qom. Education Ja'far Sobhani learned Arabic literature, Principles of Islamic jurisprudence in the Islamic Seminary. In 1946, he went to Islamic Seminary in Qom.
