Reyna Films
Reyna Films was a Filipino film production company managed by Armida Siguion-Reyna and her son Carlitos Siguion-Reyna in 1991. It was known for its critically acclaimed and award-winning films such as ''Hihintayin Kita sa Langit'' and '' Ligaya Ang Itawag Mo Sa Akin''. Reyna Films produced 13 films from 1991 to 2000. Armida Siguion-Reyna also appeared as actress, aside from being a producer, in three of her productions: ''Ikaw Pa Lang Ang Minahal'', ''Inagaw Mo ang Lahat sa Akin'' and ''Ligaya Ang Itawag Mo Sa Akin''. The company has been defunct since 2000, after ''Azucena''. History Prior to this production company, Armida Siguion-Reyna already established Aawitan Kita Productions, known for the Filipino musical program ''Aawitan Kita''. Armida Siguion-Reyna
Armida Siguion-Reyna (born Armida Liwanag Ponce Enrile; November 4, 1930February 11, 2019) was a Filipina singer, film and stage actress, producer and television show host. She was the chairperson of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board during the Estrada administration from 1998 to 2001. Early life and education Armida Siguion-Reyna was born as Armida Liwanag Ponce Enrile on November 4, 1930 in Malabon, the daughter of Alfonso Ponce Enrile, her Spanish ''mestizo'' father who was a lawyer and regional politician, and Purita Liwanag, her mother who was one of the early graduates of the University of the Philippines College of Music. Jose Mari Hontiveros Avellana (May 6, 1941 – June 26, 2011) was a Filipino actor, screenwriter, director, and production designer. Biography Avellana was the son of National Artists director Lamberto V. Avellana and actress Daisy Avellana. Charito Solis
Rosario Violeta Solís Hernández, better known as Charito Solís (October 6, 1935 – January 9, 1998), was a FAMAS and Gawad Urian Award-winning Filipina film actress, in addition to being the first Philippine woman who have bared her chest in recorded film.
