Rex Tso
Rex Tso Sing-yu : 曹星如; born 15 July 1987) is a Hong Kong amateur boxer and former professional boxer. He has won several regional titles at super-flyweight and has been ranked in the world top 10 by the WBO. However, after Rex Tso leaving his mother gym and returned to amateur boxing, his winning record decreased significantly. His amateur record is now 3 wins and 11 losses. Professional career Tso won the WBC Asia Continental Super Flyweight title in December 2012 in a bruising 12-round contest against Timur Shailezov of Kyrgyzstan, stopping his opponent in the 10th round. He then captured the WBO Asia-Pacific Junior Bantamweight title against Mako Matsuyama in February 2014, winning by TKO in the 8th round of the 10-round contest. Super flyweight, also referred to as junior bantamweight, is a boxing weight classes, weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . History The first title match in this division was in 1980, when the World Boxing Council responded to pressure from Asian and Latin American members who felt the difference between the flyweight limit and the bantamweight limit was too significant. Hong Kong Convention And Exhibition Centre
The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) is one of the two major convention and exhibition venues in Hong Kong, along with AsiaWorld–Expo. It is located in Wan Chai North, Hong Kong Island. Built along the Victoria Harbour, it is linked by covered walkways to nearby hotels and commercial buildings. Paul Butler (born 11 November 1988) is an English professional boxer and two-time bantamweight world champion, having held the IBF title in 2014 and the WBO title in 2022. Arthur Villanueva (born January 20, 1989) is a Filipino professional boxer. He is currently under the Bantamweight division. Early life Villanueva is the second youngest of 12 children in their family. His father died when he was 15, leaving his mother to raise the family. To help his mother, he started driving a tricycle, making him to earn as much as 100 pesos ($2.50 USD) a day.
