Revolutionary Forward Bloc
Revolutionary Forward Bloc was a political party in Tamil Nadu, India. The party was founded in 1968 by S. Andi Thevar and Velayudham Nayar, following a split from the All India Forward Bloc. In the 1971 legislative assembly election, S. Andi Thevar challenged the regional AIFB leader P.K. Mookiah Thevar. S. Andi Thevar was defeated, receiving 16 909 votes (25%) against 49 292 for P.K. Mookiah Thevar (75%). In the 1977 Tamil Nadu legislative assembly election, RFB contested as part of the 'Progressive Front'. Velayudham Nayar
{{Use Indian English, date=September 2019 K. Velayudham Nayar was an Indian politician. He was born in Kerala, but was politically active in Tamil Nadu. He belonged to the All India Forward Bloc. After the demise of the AIFB stalwart and Lok Sabha member U. Muthuramalingam Thevar, Nayar contested the Lok Sabha bye-election for Thevar's seat from the Aruppukottai constituency in 1964. His candidature was supported by the Swatantra Party, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Indian Union Muslim League. Nayar was, however, defeated by the Congress candidate R.K. The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (; AIADMK) is an Indian regional political party with great influence in the state of Tamil Nadu and the  union territory of Puducherry. Tamil Nadu Toilers Party was created by members of the populous Vanniyar community of Tamil Nadu, India, during the 1950s.
