Revolution Saints
Revolution Saints is an American supergroup conceptualized by Frontiers Records president Serafino Perugino, and formed by Jack Blades of Night Ranger, Damn Yankees and Shaw Blades; Deen Castronovo of Journey and formerly of Wild Dogs, Cacophony, Marty Friedman, Joey Tafolla, The Dead Daisies, Ozzy Osbourne, Bad English and Hardline; and Doug Aldrich of Whitesnake, Dio, Hurricane, Lion, Bad Moon Rising, Burning Rain, House of Lords and The Dead Daisies. The band collaborates from the beginning with Italian multi-instrumentalist Alessandro Del Vecchio (Silent Force, Hardline, Jorn, Sunstorm, Edge of Forever) as producer, sound engineer, keyboardist and songwriter. Their self-titled debut album was released on February 24, 2015. Their second album, '' Light in the Dark'', was released on October 13, 2017. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. In the late 1960s, bands such as Blue Cheer, the Jeff Beck Group, Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Golden Earring, Steppenwolf and Deep Purple also produced hard rock. Bad English
Bad English was an American/British glam metal supergroup formed in 1987. It reunited Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain with singer John Waite and bassist Ricky Phillips, his former bandmates in the Babys, along with Journey guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo. The band is mainly known for their hit single " When I See You Smile", which peaked at No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in November 1989. History The members decided on a name for the band while playing pool. John Waite missed a shot and Jonathan Cain made a comment on how bad his "" was (referring to the spin a player puts on the cue ball), and the band decided to use the phrase. Sunstorm (band)
Sunstorm is an American AOR musical project, originally featuring lead vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (formerly of Rainbow), bassist/vocalist Dennis Ward, keyboardist Jochen Weyer, as well as guitarist Uwe Reitenauer and drummer Chris Schmidt, both members of the band Pink Cream 69. The albums also featured artists such as Dann Huff and Jim Peterik as additional songwriters. The first album called '' Sunstorm'' was released in 2006, followed in 2009 by their second album ''House of Dreams''. '' Emotional Fire'' is the third release, out in 2012. Jorn (band)
Jorn is a Norwegian hard rock and metal band fronted by vocalist Jørn Lande. Other members include guitarist Tore Moren, bassist Sid Ringsby and drummer Francesco Jovino. The band was established in 2000 by Lande and the debut album ''Starfire (Jorn album), Starfire'' was released the same year. The band was the main artist at ProgPower USA in 2006, and they played at the Norway Rock Festival and the Metal Heart Festival in 2007, as well as the Jorddunst Festival in 2009. Silent Force is a German power metal band with neoclassical metal, neoclassical and progressive metal, progressive influences, founded by guitarist Alex Beyrodt. Band history The band was formed in 1999 by German guitarist Alex Beyrodt (Sinner (band), Sinner, Primal Fear (band), Primal Fear, Voodoo Circle, The Sygnet) and American singer D.C. Cooper (of Royal Hunt fame). Alessandro Del Vecchio (born 21 April 1979) is an Italian multi-instrumentalist and producer, best known for his collaborations with hard rock and heavy metal artists such as Jørn Lande, Revolution Saints, Hardline, Fergie Frederiksen, Ted Poley, Kelly Keeling and Mat Sinner, and for his work as the in-house producer for Neapolitan record label Frontiers Music SRL from his personal Ivorytears Music Works Studio located just north of Milan. House of Lords is an American rock band based out of Connecticut, with members in New Jersey and Florida. History House of Lords was formed in 1987 by former Angel member and keyboardist Gregg Giuffria following his solo project Giuffria. After listening to demos – originally intended for Giuffria's third record – a record deal with Gene Simmons' company Simmons Records was agreed upon, on two conditions: to change the band's name (to House of Lords) and to recruiter a new lead singer (firing David Glen Eisley in the process). James Christian replaced Eisley. Christian was suggested by ex-Giuffria and Quiet Riot bassist Chuck Wright, after having worked together in L.A. Rocks. Burning Rain
Burning Rain is a band formed by guitarist Doug Aldrich (Revolution Saints, The Dead Daisies, ex- Dio, ex-Whitesnake) and singer Keith St. John ( Montrose) in 1998. Joining the group were drummer Alex Makarovich (ex- Steelheart) and Ian Mayo (ex- Hericane Alice) on bass. The band released two albums in Japan and Europe, ''Burning Rain'' (1999) and '' Pleasure to Burn'' (2000), respectively, before going on hiatus due to Aldrich's involvement with both Dio and Whitesnake. Keith St. John's joined Montrose during this time. Aldrich and St. John re-activated the group with a new rhythm section, veteran bassist Sean McNabb (Dokken) and drummer Matt Starr (Ace Frehley), and issued a new album, ''Epic Obsession'', in 2013. Bad Moon Rising was a rock music, rock band that rose to superstar status in Japan with a series of hard rock albums led by Scottish born vocalist Kal Swan (real name Norman Swan) and guitarist Doug Aldrich. Hurricane is an American heavy metal band formed in 1983, originally featuring current Foreigner lead vocalist Kelly Hansen (vocals/rhythm guitar), Robert Sarzo (guitar), Tony Cavazo (bass), and Jay Schellen (drums).
