Revealed (Australian Documentary Series)
''Revealed'' is the collective name of a series of Australian documentaries and non-fiction investigative content produced by Stan (service), Stan, made in collaboration with the Nine Network. Each title prominently features the work of journalists and producers from Nine's other publications, including ''60 Minutes (Australian TV program), 60 Minutes'', ''The Age'', ''The Sydney Morning Herald'', and the ''Australian Financial Review''. The first title to release under the name was ''Revealed: Amongst Us – Neo Nazi Australia'', which premiered on 27 March 2022. Further documentaries under the ''Revealed'' banner are scheduled for release in 2023. Stan (service)
Stan (stylized as Stan.) is an Australian over-the-top streaming service. It was launched on 26 January 2015. Stan originally was founded as StreamCo Media, a 50/50 joint venture between Nine Entertainment Co. and Fairfax Media. In August 2014, each company invested A$50 million in StreamCo. StreamCo was renamed Stan Entertainment in December 2014, prior to the January 2015 launch of the streaming service. Nine Entertainment would ultimately acquire Fairfax Media in 2018, making Stan a wholly owned subsidiary of Nine Digital. The service offers a broad range of film and television content from both local and foreign productions, particularly from the United States and United Kingdom. Stan also includes a growing library of their own original film and television content. Nick McKenzie is an Australian investigative journalist. He has won ten Walkley Awards, been twice named the Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year and also received the Kennedy Award for Journalist of the Year in 2020 and 2022. He is the president of the Melbourne Press Club. McKenzie is known for his work exposing corruption in politics, business, foreign affairs/defence, human rights issues and policing/criminal justice. Thomas Sewell is an Australian neo-Nazi and convicted criminal. He is the leader of the National Socialist Network, the European Australian Movementneo-Nazi: * * * * * * and founder of the Lads Society. Far-right terrorism in Australia has been seen as an increasing threat since the late 2010s, with a number of far-right extremist individuals and groups, including neo-Nazis and other hate groups, becoming known to authorities, in particular the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) and the Australian Federal Police (AFP). In early 2021 the first far-right extremist group was added to the list of proscribed terrorist groups, this group being the Sonnenkrieg Division. The most notorious act of right-wing terrorism by an Australian took place in New Zealand in March 2019, with the Christchurch mosque shootings. Paul Denyer
Paul Charles Denyer (born 14 April 1972, known briefly as Paula whilst in prison) is an Australian serial killer currently serving three consecutive sentences of life imprisonment with a non-parole period of 30 years for the murders of three young women in Melbourne, in 1993. Denyer became known in the media as the Frankston Serial Killer as his crimes occurred in the neighbouring suburbs of Frankston.
