The Reus Imperials is an American football team from Reus. They were founded in late 1989 by Josep Lluis Castán and Solanellas. He moved his residence from Barcelona to Reus, when he did this. Reus
Reus () is the capital of Baix Camp, in the province of Tarragona, in Catalonia, Spain. The area has always been an important producer of wines and spirits, and gained continental importance at the time of the Phylloxera plague. Nowadays it is known for its commercial activity, for being a centre for rock-climbing and as the birthplace of architect Antoni Gaudí. Name The origin of the name is a source of discussion. One of the theories is that Reus comes from the Latin word used to describe convict prisoners (''reus''), and as such, it would be a Roman penitentiary. American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. LNFA 2015
The LNFA 2015 season was the 21st season of American football in Spain. Badalona Dracs were the defending champions, but lost to Valencia Firebats in the final. Teams were divided into three categories, named Serie A, B and C, with promotion and relegation between them. LNFA Serie A Six teams entered the LNFA Serie A, the top-tier level of American football in Spain. L'Hospitalet Pioners, Rivas Osos, Valencia Firebats, Valencia Giants and Badalona Dracs repeated from last year. Mallorca Voltors were promoted from last year LNFA Serie B.
