Results Of The 2022 French Legislative Election By Constituency
Following the 2022 French presidential election in April, in which Emmanuel Macron secured a second term and beat Marine Le Pen, the 2022 French legislative election was held to elect the 577 seats of the National Assembly. The first round took place on 12 June, and the second round took place on 19 June. By constituency :''The incumbent deputy at dissolution, whether elected in 2017 or replaced through a later by-election, is listed, and the party to whom they belong reflects the 2022 blocs. Individual candidates who exceeded 10% of the vote in the first round but are not in one of the four largest alliances are mentioned in the "Other" column.'' One candidate (in 1st Lot-et-Garonne) who qualified for the 2nd round as a third candidate withdrew. 2017 French Legislative Election
Legislative elections in France were held on 11 and 18 June 2017 (with different dates for voters overseas) to elect the 577 members of the 15th National Assembly of the Fifth Republic. They followed the two-round presidential election won by Emmanuel Macron. The centrist party he founded in 2016, La République En Marche! (LREM), led an alliance with the centrist Democratic Movement (MoDem); together, the two parties won 350 of the 577 seats—a substantial majority—in the National Assembly, including an outright majority of 308 seats for LREM. The Socialist Party (PS) was reduced to 30 seats and the Republicans (LR) reduced to 112 seats, and both parties' allies also suffered from a marked drop in support; these were the lowest-ever scores for the centre-left and centre-right in the legislative elections. Nicolas Dragon
Nicolas Dragon (born April 19, 1977 in Laon) is a French politician of the National Rally and a member of the National Assembly representing Aisne's 1st constituency. Dragon is of Polish descent and was born in Laon. He worked as a communications consultant and stated that he took an interest in politics at a young age. Dragon describes himself as a "social Gaullist" and supported the Rally for the Republic party in the 1990s. He later sought the nomination for the En Marche! candidacy for Aisne's 1st constituency ahead of the 2017 French legislative election, claiming he initially agreed with Emmanuel Macron's "concept of neither left nor right" but lost out to Aude Bono-Vandorme. Aude Bono-Vandorme (née Vandorme; born 3 August 1962) is a French physicist and politician who represented the department of Aisne as member of the party La République En Marche! (LREM) in the French National Assembly from 2017 to 2022. Education and early life Bono-Vandorme was born on 3 August 1962 in Soissons. She studied engineering at the École Polytechnique Féminine in Sceaux, Hauts-de-Seine, where she received a doctorate in fluid mechanics. The 1st constituency of the Aisne is a French legislative constituency in the Aisne ''département''. Description Aisne's 1st constituency stretches from the centre of the department to its eastern border, and includes the city of Laon. The seat was held by one man, René Dosière, from 1988 to 2017, with the exception of between 1993 and 1997, when it was captured the Gaullist RPR. Unusually the second round at the 2012 election featured two candidates from the left René Dosière and Fawaz Karimet of the official Socialist Party. Damien Abad (; born 5 April 1980) is a French politician who briefly served as Minister of Solidarity in the government of Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne in 2022. Abad previously served as Member of the National Assembly for Ain's 5th constituency from 2012 to 2022, where he was the president of The Republicans group from 2019 to 2022. It was created by ordinance n°2009-935 of 29 July 2009, ratified by the French Parliament on 21 January 2010. Jérôme Buisson
Jérôme Buisson (born 15 January 1973) is a French politician and educator from the National Rally (RN) who has been the member of the National Assembly for the 4th constituency of Ain since 2022. Buisson was born in 1973. He holds a degree from the University of Bologna in Italy followed by a teaching certificate at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. From 2000 to 2015 he worked as a languages teacher at a school in Bourg-en-Bresse. Buisson serves as a municipal councillor in Bourg-en-Bresse and as a community councillor for the Communauté d'agglomération du Bassin de Bourg-en-Bresse. Stéphane Trompille (born 1 December 1982) is a French politician of La République En Marche! (LREM) who served as a member of the French National Assembly from 2017 to 2022, representing the department of Ain. Political career Having previously been an active member of the Socialist Party, Trompille joined LREM in 2017. Olga Givernet
Olga Givernet (born 17 October 1981) is a French politician of La République En Marche! (LREM) who has been serving as a member of the French National Assembly since the 2017 elections, representing the department of Ain. Education and early career Givernet completed her secondary studies in Yvelines. At age 23, she obtained an engineer's degree in electronics and computer science for embedded systems, and a master's degree. In 2015, Givernet decided with her husband to settle in Auckland where she found a job as an avionics engineer, then project manager at the design office of Air New Zealand.
