Night Club (band)
Night Club is an American electronic band, formed by Mark Brooks (aka 3 Kord Scissor King) and Emily Kavanaugh in 2012. The band is from Los Angeles, California. Career Night Club released their first single "Lovestruck" in July 2012 and their self-titled debut EP in September 2012. A video for "Lovestruck" was released in September 2012 in conjunction with the release of the EP. Night Club's radio debut occurred on KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer's ''Rodney on the Roq'' program on October 22, 2012. Night Club released a video for their second single "Control" in February 2013. Night Club released their second EP ''Love Casualty'' in June 2013. In conjunction with the EP release, the band released three videos: "Poisonous", "Strobe Light" and "Give Yourself Up". Night Club released their third EP ''Black Leather Heart'' in September 2014. Mark Brooks (director)
Mark Brooks (born May 7, 1970) is an American producer, director, writer and musician known for his work on projects such as ''Metalocalypse'', ''Moonbeam City'' and '' Serenity''. He is a member of the dark electronic pop group Night Club. Early life Brooks was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Using the pseudonym 3 Kord Scissor King, Brooks co-founded and played guitar for the influential punk band Warlock Pinchers while still in high school. The group disbanded in early 1992 when Brooks was 22 During college Brooks co-founded the band Foreskin 500 with Diggie Diamond in the mid-1990s. Initially just a duo with Diamond on vocals and Brooks playing everything else, the group eventually rounded out its lineup with Dave Kerr and Dave Moore. Directing career In 1999, Brooks began his animation career in Los Angeles, co-founding the animation studio Gifted Men Productions.
