Repmånad (film)
''Repmånad'' is a Swedish comedy film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 23 February 1979, directed by Lasse Åberg. The plot revolves around a group of men called in for refresher exercise (known as "repmånad" in Swedish, hence the title) in the Swedish Army, and who did their national service together some years earlier. The alternative name is "How to make boys out of men (Swedish:''hur man gör pojkar av män''), a joke on the military motto "We make men out of boys". Lasse Ã…berg
Lars Gunnar Åberg (born 5 May 1940), known professionally as Lasse Åberg, is a Swedish actor, musician, film director and artist. Between 1960 and 1964 he studied at the Konstfack department of graphic design. Åberg has produced some of the most successful films in Sweden, depicting "typical" Swedish life and customs in a usually humorous way. Åberg's character can be described as an inept outsider with a large heart, constantly pushed aside without noticing. His films have generated over 300 million Swedish kronor (~43 million USD) in Sweden alone; no large scale international distribution has ever been attempted. His 1980 film ''Sällskapsresan'' entered into the 12th Moscow International Film Festival. Lars Amble
Lars Anders Amble-Næss (10 August 1939 – 20 August 2015) was a Swedish actor and director. Amble was the son of Leif Amble-Næss and Maritta Marke. After finishing theater school in Stockholm, which he attended from 1962 to 1965, he was hired by the Royal Dramatic Theater until 1969, after which he has played parts in various theater plays, musicals, TV shows and movies.
