The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. State Road 161 in the U.S. State of Indiana is a rural undivided north–south highway in the southwestern portion of the state. Route description State Road 161 begins in Spencer County approximately nine miles southwest of Rockport at the northern end of the Owensboro Bridge across the Ohio River in the Ohio Township. State Road 66 is an east–west highway in six counties in the southernmost portion of the U.S. state of Indiana.
