René Román
René Román Hinojo (born 15 December 1983), known simply as René, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for CD Atlético Baleares. Club career Born in El Bosque, Cádiz, René made his senior debut with local Arcos CF in the 2002–03 season. He first arrived in the Segunda División B in the summer of 2006, signing with Racing Club Portuense. In the following years, René continued competing in the third division and his native Andalusia, representing Betis Deportivo Balompié (being named to the first team's substitutes bench on three occasions), Unión Estepona CF and CP Cacereño. In July 2012 he signed with fellow third-tier FC Cartagena, being released the following month and remaining a free agent until January 2013, when he moved to Barakaldo CF. Girona Futbol Club, S.A.D. is a professional football club based in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. The 2013–14 Copa del Rey was the 112th staging of the Copa del Rey (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The competition began on 4 September 2013 and ended on 16 April 2014 with the final. The final took place at Mestalla in Valencia, and saw Real Madrid defeat Barcelona 2–1 to win their 19th title in the competition. The winners assured a place for the group stage of the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League, although Madrid qualified for the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League due to their league performance.
