Renwick Brook Park
Renwick Brook Park is an urban park located in the community of Glace Bay, part of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia, Canada. The park includes over of walking trails spread through an area of over , winding along a quiet brook. The park is adjacent to both the Cameron Bowl Ball Park and Queen Elizabeth Park, which all together make up a green space of more than in downtown Glace Bay. Park layout Renwick Brook Park lies in a shallow valley containing a brook of the same name. The park has series of crushed limestone walking paths, the main trail looping between the foot bridge near where Commercial Street crosses the brook to a foot bridge near the intersection of Park and Brookside Streets. The trails also continue south under Park Street, past the Cameron Bowl Ball Park crossing two more foot bridges to end at Newsom Park at Dominion Street and also looping back north to the Cameron Bowl. Glace Bay
Glace Bay (Scottish Gaelic: ''Glasbaidh'') is a community in the eastern part of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia, Canada. It forms part of the general area referred to as Industrial Cape Breton. Formerly an incorporated town (1901–1995), the municipal government in Glace Bay was dissolved and the community was amalgamated into the larger regional municipality. Prior to amalgamation, Glace Bay had been the province's fourth largest urban area and the largest town in Nova Scotia by population. Cape Breton Regional Municipality (often referred to as simply "CBRM") is the Canadian province of Nova Scotia's second largest municipality and the economic heart of Cape Breton Island. Transit Cape Breton
Transit Cape Breton is a public transport agency operating buses in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM), in Nova Scotia, Canada. Owned by the CBRM, Transit Cape Breton's operations area is the urban core in the eastern part of the municipality, namely Industrial Cape Breton, which includes the communities of Sydney, Glace Bay, North Sydney, Sydney Mines, Reserve Mines, and New Waterford. Transit Cape Breton also operates "Handi-Trans" for passengers whose disabilities restrict them from using regular bus service. As of October 2019, all Transit Cape Breton buses are wheelchair-accessible. David Dingwall
David Charles Dingwall (born June 29, 1952) is a Canadian administrator, former Canadian Cabinet minister and civil servant. He is the president of Cape Breton University. Political career A lawyer by training, Dingwall was first elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the 1980 Canadian federal election as the Liberal Member of Parliament (MP) for Cape Breton—East Richmond in Nova Scotia.
