Renmin University Of China Law School
Renmin University of China Law School, formerly Renmin University of China Department of Law, is the school of law under Renmin University of China. It was founded as the Department of Law in 1950 and renamed to Law School in 1988. According to the evaluation reports published by the Ministry of Education of PRC every year since 2004, Renmin University of China Law School has been consistently ranked as the best law school in China. It has successfully maintained its status in the most recent evaluation conducted in 2017. Renmin University of China Law School is also considered one of the best law schools in the world and ranked 93rd in ''THE Rankings by Subjects'' and 51st-100th in the ''QS Rankings by Subjects'' in "Law and Legal Studies" subjects respectively. Wang Liming (legal Scholar)
Wang Liming (; born 1960) is the Vice President of Renmin University of China and one of the foremost scholars of civil law in China. Biography Wang was born in Xiantao, Hubei Province, China. He received his LL.B. degree from Hubei Institute of Finance and Economics (now known as Zhongnan University of Economics and Law) in 1981, and LL.M from Renmin University of China Department of Law in 1984. After graduation, Wang joined the faculty of Renmin University Law School. He received his LL.D degree from the same university in 1990. In 1995, Wang Liming was selected as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young Jurists" by the China Law Society. Zeng Xianyi (; January 31, 1936 – January 15, 2011) was a professor of legal history and was the dean of Renmin University of China Law School. Biography Zeng Xianyi received his Bachelor of Laws degree from Renmin University of China Department of Law Renmin University of China Law School, formerly Renmin University of China Department of Law, is the school of law under Renmin University of China. Gao Mingxuan
Gao , or Gawgaw/Kawkaw, is a city in Mali and the capital of the Gao Region. The city is located on the River Niger, east-southeast of Timbuktu on the left bank at the junction with the Tilemsi valley. For much of its history Gao was an important commercial centre involved in the trans-Saharan trade. In the 9th century external Arabic writers described Gao as an important regional power, and by the end of the 10th century, the local ruler was said to be a Muslim. Towards the end of the 13th century Gao became part of the Mali Empire, but in first half of the 15th century the town regained its independence and with the conquests of Sunni Ali (ruled 1464–1492) it became the capital of the Songhai Empire. The Empire collapsed after the Moroccan invasion in 1591 and the invaders chose to make Timbuktu their capital. The Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party, formally known as the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and known as the Central Bureau before 1927, is the decision-making body of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
