Renegades EP
Renegades were a British rock music, rock band which started out as a side-project from two members of the band Feeder (band), Feeder, featuring guitarist Grant Nicholas and bassist Taka Hirose, before becoming a pseudonym name for Feeder themselves. Nicholas formed Renegades alongside Hirose with Karl Brazil from Ben's Brother, who completed the group and a four-track EP was then recorded. Soon later, Renegades became an alternative name for Feeder at various concerts where they would play an entire show pretending not to be Feeder, but a different band with the same members. If Feeder songs released before the ''Renegades (Feeder album), Renegades'' album were to be played, the band would announce that they're cover version, covering Feeder songs. Electric Ballroom
The Electric Ballroom is a 1,500-capacity performance venue (primarily for rock bands) and indoor market located at 184 Camden High Street in Camden Town, London, England. Mark Richardson (musician)
Mark Richardson (born 28 May 1970, Leeds) is an English drummer, known for being a member of the English rock group Skunk Anansie and formerly of Little Angels and Feeder. Music Little Angels (December 1991 – July 1994) In 1991 he moved to London to join Little Angels after Michael Lee left to join The Cult. Matt Sorum had left The Cult to join Guns and Roses after their drummer, Stephen Adler, had allegedly been kicked out due to his growing drug habit. Richardson's first ever professional engagement was with the Little Angels on the 'Jim'll Fix It' show, a kids prime time TV show that helped children fulfil their dreams. Hailing from Scarborough, Little Angels were tipped for success and in 1992 wrote and recorded ''Jam'', the band's third record on Polydor. It entered the UK album charts at number one. Nirvana (band)
Nirvana was an American rock band formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. Polythene (album)
''Polythene'' is the debut studio album by Welsh rock band Feeder. It was released 19 May 1997 on the Echo Label, and then re-issued on 28 October in the same year in an Enhanced CD version, featuring their UK top 40 breakthrough single "High" and its video. The original version of the album was deleted soon after and is relatively rare due to this reason. Despite sizeable critical success, the album had minor commercial success, charting at number 65 in the UK albums chart. However, ''Polythene'' would later achieve Gold record status despite never having appeared in the top 50 of the album charts, a rare feat reflecting steady and consistent sales over a period of 20 years, rather than strong initial sales. The album saw the group's early take on a more grunge-influenced sound, which was not seen on their other albums that followed. Feeder are a Welsh rock band formed in Newport in 1994. They have released 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs and 43 singles, spending a combined total of 184 weeks on the singles and albums charts as of 2019, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. At their peak of commercial success, Feeder won two Kerrang! Awards in 2001 and 2003; they were inducted into their Hall of Fame in August 2019 for “Distinguished Services to Rock”. Feeder are one of the Britpop era bands to have continued success long after their peak. Tangerine (Feeder Song)
"Tangerine" is a song by British rock band Feeder, released as the band's second single, and the first that was taken from the ''Polythene'' album. The single managed to gain word-of-mouth success and made #60 on the UK top 75- their first of 25 hit singles to date. The song is featured on the original '' Gran Turismo'' game as an instrumental. Grant once said that the song is about the struggles the band experienced while trying to get a record contract. During the 2020 Covid lockdown, a radio presenter living in Bath, discovered during a clear out of his attic and shed, a series of master tapes containing acoustic radio sessions he did with various established and up and coming bands. Amongst these was an early performance of b-side “Rain” performed in 1997, sometime before this single was released. Casino is a rock/alternative band consisting of Adam Zindani (vocals/guitar), Sam Yapp (drums), Jo Crofts (guitar) and Jimi Crutchley (bass guitar). The band was originally formed as Casino in 2003 and changed its name to SpiderSimpson after signing to Polydor in 2006, before reverting to the original name in late 2008 to release its first album ''The Spider Simpson Incident''.
