Renate Verbaan (born 27 October 1979) is a Dutch television presenter. Career She was a video jockey at TMF Nederland from 2004 until 2006. From 2006 till 2009 she presented ''RTL Travel, RTL Travel's Hotlist''. In 2007, she participated in the television show ''Wie is de Mol? (Dutch TV series), Wie is de Mol?'' where she reached the final. As of 2010 she is a List of UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. In 2011, she presented ''Secret Story (Dutch TV series), Secret Story'', the Dutch adaptation of the Secret Story (French TV series), French reality show with the same name. In that same year, she also participated in an episode of the game show ''De Jongens tegen de Meisjes''. TMF Nederland
TMF (abbreviation of The Music Factory) was a 24-hour music channel operated by Viacom International Media Networks in the Netherlands. The channel was previously in every standard TV package, but it ceased operating on 1 September 2011. The channels operations were based in Amsterdam. The channel was previously known as TMF6 and TMF9. History TMF was launched on 1 May 1995 by Lex Harding (then director of Radio 538), producer Herman Braakman, director Ewart van der Horst and multimedia company Arcade. It was the first Dutch music station competing against MTV Europe within the region. The Netherlands did not at that time have its own music station, in most municipalities, only English-language MTV Europe could be received. At first, TMF had a limited reach within the Netherlands, but this quickly increased. Winston Ronald Gerschtanowitz (born 2 October 1976, in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Dutch Television presenter, presenter and actor. Education Gerschtanowitz completed a Hoger algemeen voortgezet onderwijs, HAVO education at the Keizer Karel College in Amstelveen. Career Gerschtanowitz' first became famous to the general audience for his role as Harm van Cloppenburg in the Dutch soap Goudkust. After this Gerschtanowitz became part of Dutch boy band 4 Fun together with fellow actors Michiel de Zeeuw, Jimmy Geduld en Chris Zegers. The Passion (Netherlands)
The Passion is a Dutch passion play, held every Maundy Thursday since 2011 in a different city each year. The event is broadcast live on Dutch television. In 2015 and 2018, it was broadcast on radio as well. The event began as a collaboration between the broadcasters EO and RKK. At present, it is mainly a joint effort between the broadcasters EO and KRO-NCRV. The participating organizations consider ''The Passion'' missionary work and they see it as a chance to promote Easter and Christianity in general. Creation The Dutch event and television program is partly inspired by the English local play ''Manchester Passion'', held on Good Friday and broadcast by the BBC Three. The production company Eye2Eye Media brought the event to the Netherlands.
