Remee Sigvardt Jackman (né Mikkel Johan Imer Sigvardt; born Frederiksberg, 8 November 1974), better known as Remee, is a Danish producer, composer and songwriter. Career Remee has written more than 60 hits and has sold over 25 million records. He has co-written several songs with Thomas Troelsen. Early music career Remee was a rapper in the pop group Sound of Seduction and in Thomas Blachman's jazz and hip-hop project in the early and mid-1990s. In 1998, Remee broke through as a producer/songwriter for the pop duo S.O.A.P, with the debut album ''Not Like Other Girls''. At the Danish Grammy Awards, the group was honored with two prizes, and Remee was nominated for the Producer of the Year. In 1999, he wrote and co-produced "Let Love Be Love", sung by Juice, SOAP and Christina Undhjem, as well as Remee. The track is, according to DR, one of the most played songs ever on Danish radio. X Factor (Danish TV Series)
''X Factor'' is the Danish version of british Tv show ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been fifteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022). The original judging panel consisted of Thomas Blachman, Lina Rafn and Remee. The current panel consists of Blachman and Martin Jensen. Former judges include Soulshock, Pernille Rosendahl, Cutfather, Ida Corr, Anne Linnet, Mette Lindberg, Sanne Salomonsen and Oh Land. The original host was Lise Rønne. Disappear (No Angels Song)
"Disappear" is a song recorded by all-female German pop group No Angels, taken from '' Destiny Reloaded'' (2008), the reissue of their fourth studio album. It was written by Norwegian singer-songwriter Hanne Sørvaag along with Danish musicians Remee and Thomas Troelsen, the latter of which also handled production on the track. A mid-paced pop song that is built on a ticking clock sample, the song is influenced by elements of Europop and synthpop. Its instrumentation consists essentially of synthesizers and keyboards. Lyrically, it finds the protagonist thinking deeply over her relationship with her love interest from whom she parted; however, she still pines for him and feels self-conscious for doing so. "Superstar" is a song written by Cutfather, Joe Belmaati, and Remee and performed by Danish pop singer Christine Milton. It was released in 2003 as the lead single from her debut studio album, ''Friday'' (2004), and spent seven weeks at number one on the Danish Singles Chart. The song was later covered to international success by British singer Jamelia. Hvor Små Vi Er
"Hvor små vi er" is a 2005 Danish charity single performed by a group of Danish artists (singers, actors and musicians) under the name Giv Til Asien (translated as Give to Asia). A small number of artists from other European countries also participated. The single with lyrics by Remee and music by Nicolai Seebach and Rasmus Seebach, was released in aid of various charities for tsunami relief as a result the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. Not Like Other Girls
''Not Like Other Girls'' is the debut album by S.O.A.P. It was released on 18 March 1998 in Denmark and on 5 May in the U.S., as a self-titled album on Crave Records, with a European release under Sony held around the same time. Remee wrote the lyrics for the album, which was produced by Holger Lagerfeldt. The album was certified gold in Finland and Denmark, and had sold over 15,000 copies in the US by July 1998. By August 2000, it had sold 1.5 million copies worldwide. The album's debut single was " This Is How We Party". Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2012
Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Should've Known Better" written by Chief 1, Remee and Isam B. The song was performed by Soluna Samay. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final ''Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2012'' in order to select the Danish entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Ten songs competed in a televised show where "Should've Known Better" performed by Soluna Samay was the winner as decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting over two rounds. Denmark was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 22 May 2012. Performing during the show in position 13, "Should've Known Better" was announced among the top 10 entries of the first semi-final and therefore qualified to compete in the final on 26 May. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003 was the inaugural edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest for young singers aged eight to fifteen. Lina Rafn
Lina Rafn Sørensen (born 12 August 1976), known professionally as Lina Rafn is a Danish female singer, songwriter and producer active in the band Infernal. Additionally, she is a former VJ on the Danish music video channel ''The Voice TV Danmark'', presenting various charts. Lina Rafn was born in Copenhagen, and was a professional dancer from a very early age. Juice (Danish Band)
Juice was a Danish R&B musical group that was established in 1995 and included Anne Rani, Lena Tahara and Maria Hamer (a.k.a. Maria Hamer-Jensen). They were signed to EMI-Medley. Lena Tahara left in 1998 and was replaced by Eve Horne. The group's producers included Carsten Soulshock, Peter Biker and Kenneth Karlin. The group disbanded in August 2000 after two successful albums. The group became very prominent particularly with their debut album ''Something to Feel'' which sold 40,000 copies in 1997. Anis Basim Moujahid (born 4 July 1992), better known as Basim, is a Danish pop singer and songwriter. He is of Moroccan origin.
