''Relief'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Mike Stud, released on May 13, 2013. ''Relief'' chronicles Stud’s journey from his years as an All American pitcher at Duke, to his side-lining and ultimate career-ending injury, and his rise as a rapper. Release and promotion Singles Prior to the album's release, Stud posted videos for three of the album's tracks on his YouTube page. The first -- "Perfect For Me"—was released on February 11, 2013. This video was followed by an official video for "F**k That" on March 27 and "Past Gone" on April 8, of the same year. Commercial performance The album debuted at number 109 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 chart, with first-week sales of 4,200 copies in the United States. Mike Stud
Michael Francis Seander (born October 30, 1988), known professionally as Mike (stylized as mike.; formerly Mike Stud), is an American hip hop recording artist. His first musical recognition came with the release of his viral single "College Humor", which he recorded on GarageBand ironically while he was a relief pitcher at Duke University. Early life In 2006, Seander graduated from St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. At , he lettered in both baseball and basketball and was named Rhode Island's 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year, earning him an athletic scholarship to Duke University. Seander earned 2nd team all-state honors in basketball after averaging 21 points and 7 rebounds as a senior. He earned an 8-2 record with a 0.72 ERA and 88 strikeouts for the Saints as a junior. RED Music, stylized RED MUSIC, formerly RED Distribution, LLC (Relativity Entertainment Distribution) was a Sony-owned sales and marketing division that merged under The Orchard in 2017. RED previously handled releases for more than sixty independent record labels. Kinetics & One Love
Jeremy "Kinetics" Dussolliet and Tim "One Love" Sommers are an American musical duo from New York City. They made their commercial debut as songwriters in 2010 by penning the chorus to B.o.B's single " Airplanes." They have collaborated with R.A. the Rugged Man and Remedy from Wu-Tang Killa Bees, Termanology and the Unknown Prophets, Neon Hitch, Melanie Martinez, and Wynter Gordon. About Kinetics & One Love began writing music together after meeting in 2007 and forming a hip-hop group – with Kinetics as the rapper and One Love as the producer. In 2009, they released their first album ''Fading Back to Normal'', featuring the original Kinetics & One Love version of "Airplanes," with One Love production and Kinetics rap verses.
