Reisenbach Telecommunication Tower ( German designation: Fernmeldeturm Reisenbach) is among the tallest structures in the Northern parts of Baden-Württemberg. Only the two masts of Sender Donebach, Donebach longwave transmitter are taller in the Mudau community. As the masts of Donebach transmitter, Reisenbach Telecommunication Tower is property of Deutsche Telekom AG. It is a concrete telecommunication tower from the FMT3 type. It is among the tallest standardised telecommunication towers (''Typenturm'') of the Deutsche Telekom AG. Reisenbach Telecommunication Tower was built in 1972. It is situated in the part Reisenbach of Mudau at Kirchstraase. It is used as directional radio tower and for transmitting the program of "sunshine live" on 100 kW with an ERP of 25 kW. Sender Donebach
The Sender Donebach was a 500-kilowatt long wave radio transmitter operating on 153 kHz and transmitting the program of German public broadcaster Deutschlandfunk. The facility, which was the property of Media Broadcast, was built between 1965 and 1967 on a former airfield, and entered service on March 10, 1967. It was part of an omnidirectional aerial, consisting of four 200-metre-high radio masts, which were connected using wires on their tops. The middle mast was fed via radio power. This very efficient transmission aerial led to interference with the Romanian transmitter Braşov on the same frequency, so only 70 kilowatts of power were used, instead of 250. But even with this reduced power, interference to Braşov occurred, so in 1972 the radio facility Donebach was rebuilt as a directional aerial with a minimum towards Braşov. Mudau
Mudau is a municipality in the Neckar-Odenwald district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. it has 4,833 inhabitants. Geography Mudau lies in the southeastern Odenwald mountains between the Neckar and Main rivers, 75 km southeast of Frankfurt am Main and 40 km northeast of Heidelberg. The area is heavily forested, resting on coloured sandstone plateaus at 285 to 576 m elevation, sloping downward to the Bauland region. A ''Typenturm'' (German for ''standard tower'') is a standardised telecommunications tower built of reinforced concrete the former German federal post office (now Deutsche Telekom AG). Different types of tower were developed and built at different locations, like the series FMT 1 to FMT 16.
