Reinier De Ridder
Reinier de Ridder (born September 7, 1990) is a Dutch mixed martial artist who competes in the Middleweight division of ONE Championship. He is the former ONE Light Heavyweight World Champion and current ONE Middleweight World Champion. Since July 25, 2022, Ridder is ranked within the top 10 LHW in the world by Sherdog. Background Reinier de Ridder started with judo at the age of 6. When he started to go to college he wanted to do something with his free time and he liked combat sports a lot, deciding to go into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He also owns a physical therapy clinic in Breda, combining his working hours with his training hours. Grappling career De Ridder won a silver medal at the European Championship BJJ in 2016. André Luiz Leite Galvão (; born September 29, 1982) is a Brazilian grappler and professional mixed martial artist. A 4th degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Fernando "Tererê" Augusto as well as a Judo black belt, Galvão is one of the most decorated athletes ever, having won most major international tournaments multiple times. Galvão is the co-founder and head coach of Atos Jiu Jitsu in San Diego, California, one of the most successful BJJ teams in competitive sport, and a coach to numerous world champions. He is the author of the martial arts book ''Drill to Win: One Year to Better Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu''. ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship
The ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship, is an international submission grappling competition, organised by the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC). The inaugural tournament was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 1998. It has been held every two years since, except in 2021 due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Host countries have included Brazil, China, Finland, Spain, the UK, and the US. Competitors can only participate after winning ADCC trials or by invitation. While most athletes come from the IBJJF Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitive scene, it is open to competitors from any grappling style. ONE Bonus Awards :A cash bonus known as the "ONE Warrior bonus" was introduced on 9 July 2014 and implemented for the first time at ONE Fighting Championship: War of Dragons on 11 July 2014. An award of US$50,000 is given out at the end of certain events to the fighter who impresses the most in terms of: * thrilling the fans with exciting action; * demonstrating an incredible warrior spirit; * exhibiting amazing skill, and; * delivering a phenomenal finish.
