Arvin Reingold
Arvin Harold Reingold (July 22, 1930 – October 18, 2020) was an American politician and lawyer. Reingold was born in New York City, New York (state), New York. He moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee with his family when he was a teenager and lived in Chattanooga until 2015. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He received his bachelor's degree from University of Chattanooga and his law degree from University of Tennessee College of Law. Reingold was admitted to the Tennessee bar and practiced law in Chattanooga. Babs Reingold (born in Caracas, Venezuela) is an American contemporary interdisciplinary artist working with sculpture, installation, video, painting and drawing. She currently lives and works in St. Petersburg, Florida and maintains a studio in New York City. Art Reingold is best known as a visual and conceptual artist for creating alternate ambiguities with her wall art and installations as they relate to the environment, poverty and beauty. She draws on her early experiences of hardship to create elaborate installations using domestic objects and natural materials like clotheslines, threads, human hair, animal skins, organza fabric structures, rust and tea staining, and encaustic. David A. Reingold (born 1968) is an American sociologist and higher education administrator. He is the Senior Vice President for Policy Planning and the Justin S. Morrill Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue University on the West Lafayette campus where he is a professor of sociology. Edward M. Reingold (born 1945) is a computer scientist active in the fields of algorithms, data structures, graph drawing, and calendrical calculations. Isaac Reingold (Yitskhok, Itsik, יצחק רײנגאָלד) is the pen name of Isaac Toomim ( תּאומים יצחק) 1873-1903), a Russian-born American poet, lyricist, and singer. Born in 1873 in Oder, near Loytsk (Lutsk), Volhynia, Ukraine, into a Chasidic family. He received a strict religious education; his father was bitterly opposed to the Enlightenment and a fervent believer in brotherhood and equality. His poetry and his couplets—often set to melodies of famous English-language popular songs—were popular with working-class audiences. He sang well and performed in concert halls and workers' gatherings. His songs were published in: ''Lider-magazin, Di idishe bihne,'' and ''Teglikher idisher kuryer''. Jonas Reingold (born 22 April 1969) is a Swedish bass guitarist from Malmö. Biography Reingold started to play bass in 1986 when he subbed for a friend in the local famous act WIRE. The band was happy with his performance and offered him the spot. From 1988 until 1994, he studied music and achieved a master's degree of fine arts in 1994. Busy working as a session player between 1994 and 1996 he finally released his debut album as a band leader in 1995, which was called ''Sweden Bass Orchestra''. Louis David Reingold (1874 or 1875-1944) was a Yiddish playwright and journalist. Early life Louis David Reingold was born Eliezer Dovid Ozharov in Ciechanów, Poland, in 1874 or 1875. He was descended from local pedigree. On his mother's side, he was a grandchild of the "rosh ha-kool" (head of the Jewish community) and on his father's side, a grandchild of a Jewish advisor of Alexander the Second, who was shot during the Polish uprising in 1863. Reingold's father was a rabbi in Sierpc, about 80 km from Ciechanow. Reingold studied in kheyder, where his father let him learn more Bible than Talmud, and studied Russian and Polish privately.
